There is something absolutely magical about Christmas. Whether it’s the sparkly lights or the glittery decorations there’s nothing quite like sitting by the flickering glow of a Christmas tree (you thought I was going to say fire but I’m in Alabama so while I have 2 Christmas trees in my living room it’s still 80 degrees outside… no fire needed!).
Of course, some people like to change their decor from year to year… with completely new color schemes and brand new shiny decorations but I say why mess with perfection? So instead of changing things completely from year to year I prefer to build on them. You can take a look back at my first year in my new home to see 2020’s blush and rose gold Christmas or how things evolved last year with a touch of seafoam but I think this year’s Christmas home tour is the best one yet!
Everything is really coming together!
I’m enjoying it so much that I think I might add the office to the list of rooms that get the Christmas touch next year… I’d love to have a tree in there too!
In the meantime let’s go room by room and enjoy all of the holiday magic that is the 2022 Blush and Seafoam Christmas Home Tour!
Enjoy!
Entry Way
This little space right inside my front door is tiny… but it is a great place for seasonal decor. I like to place my little cute no-sew gnomes here (I even change them out for other holidays like Easter and Halloween!) and it’s a fun spot right when you walk in the front door!
Especially past the resin Merry Christmas wreath!
Or door sign?
Does a wreath have to have greenery to be a wreath?
Either way… I added a fun little Reindeer sign to pop against the antique type tray’s and called it a day. On to the rest of the living room!

Living Room
As far as projects go the living room is FULL of projects… I know I make a lot of Christmas themed pieces but it wasn’t until I was writing up the project list below that I realized just how many pieces I had in this one room!
Either way I love how it’s coming together… the two trees, the swans, the stockings!
I think I may need a few more Christmas pillows though… my new couch is longer than the old one. More pillow room! Most of the year I don’t mind the space as I like to see the tufts on the back of the couch but for Christmas I’m thinking more bling is better.
Maybe I can pick up a few on an after Christmas sale… or whip a few up. I loved these glitter iron-on Christmas pillows I made for a friend a few years ago… and I have another rose gold sequin shift pillow from this flower girl project.
Infusible ink, rose gold, sequin changing Christmas pillows? Now that’s an idea!
I’m going to work on that… y’all enjoy allll the pictures!!

Dining Room
This little dining room nook is still one of my favorite moments for Christmas. I just LOVE my Fitz and Floyd Christmas plates… I think I’ll use them every year! They go perfectly with my nativity scene and my pretty pastel gingerbread house!
All of my favorite things in one place!
Check out the full blush and seafoam tablescape here!
Kitchen
Another favorite moment? The rose gold mercury glass trees on my island… luckily the island is HUGE so there’s plenty of room for decorations. I still have plenty of space for eating lunch on one side and prepping food on the other side.
This year I spread the trees out a bit though… a few in the bedroom, a few in the living room, a few in my office… to make room for the glass cloche’s I turned into resin snowglobes. The fake snow gives everything a bit of extra sparkle!
Which is my favorite kind!
Plus the snow globes paired perfectly with my little winter wonderland cloche… you can check out the cut files for that project here. It’s cute for the entire winter season but I’m loving it for Christmas!
On the other hand I ran a bit of an experiment and poured these tiny resin Christmas trees for a second time with deep pour resin to try and eliminate the bubbles in the original project. They turned out so cute!
Especially paired with the little Christmas houses from Target’s dollar spot.

Master Bedroom
Last but not least we have the bedroom… I’m thinking I need a bit more Christmas magic in here BUT by the time I’m decorating this space I’m usually ready for the magic to begin and the work to be over. Although decorating for Christmas isn’t that bad as far as work goes.
I kept it simple with my small flocked tree, a few adorable gnomes and a combination of fun mercury glass trees and bottle brush trees.
I’m thinking I need a wreath for the shutters on either side of my window though. A little extra fluff and sparkle? MAYBE WITH CHRISTMAS LIGHTS?!
At this point I’m not sure if this is a Christmas tour or me thinking of projects for next year…
Whatever works!
After all last year I pointed out the awful ottoman and tufted vanity chair I needed to re-upholster and this year they look fabulous! Although I’m not a fan of the armchair from my living room hanging out in here but it just doesn’t fit in the living room with the two trees.
Oh well. It’s just for a month or two!
