Last week we bit the bullet and hung the shiplap panels in the new workshed… and today everything else is getting a nice new coat of white paint. Since we’ll be filming resin and wood projects in here making sure the entire space is white and bright is super important. PLUS it makes the entire space more inviting and seals… Read More
Paint
Some days I think all I do is talk about paint. Working at a paint store means I spend the majority of my time looking at new paint colors, figuring out which type of paint a customer needs and troubleshooting painting problems! There's nothing worse then finding out the three rooms you just spent hours painting were the wrong product... and the fresh shiny new coat of light french gray paint you've applied is peeling off in huge sheets!
It's a real problem y'all.
Of course, the best part of knowing a bit about paint is sharing my knowledge with all of you! I love to answer your questions every week and I work really hard to write up posts to cover. all. the. things.
Whether you're picking the perfect color, trying to figure out just what paint brush you need or trying to figure out how to remove frustrating wallpaper I've got you covered.

Luckily shiplap is pretty easy to re-create inexpensively so when Mom… Read More

How to Find the Angle of any Corner without Tools
Last week Mom and I decided to install a bit of new molding to her living room to extend the already existing trim for an extended crown molding look. It’s actually glorious BUT we figured out pretty quickly that morning that our angle finder was lost. Instead of wasting time running to the store for a new angle finding tool… Read More
How to Expand Existing Crown Molding
We spent a few hours yesterday painting Mom’s living room… it’s a 15×17 room that we took from a medium tone gold to a beautiful new sea salt. It looks amazing so far but it needed a little bit of an extra touch. That cherry on top. So we decided to pick up a few pieces of crown molding to… Read More
