Most of you know that I work at a little place called Sherwin-Williams… I’m actually still moving for my new promotion! Every day I have people say “A quart is the smallest size you can buy? What will I do with all the extra paint?” Well hundreds of customers who don’t even know my blog exists… this ones for you!
Add a Pop of Color!
I absolutely love when drawers have a little pop of color… it’s like a little fun surprise tucked away inside! Paint your drawers a solid color or if you’re feeling a bit more adventurous try a stencil or pattern… you’ll smile each time you search for your missing left sock!

Paint Your appliances!
Have you seen this adorable polka dotted laundry duo? I think I first saw them the week we brought our washer and dryer home… and let me tell you if those babies didn’t live in the garage they would already be painted! Done with your washer and dryer? Try the fridge… for bonus points try using chalkboard paint
… it’ll make writing out your weekly grocery list
a breeze (and maybe even help with the husband aspect, if your hubby is anything like mine he is always forgetting where we keep the list!)
Paint a portrait of your pooch!
How sweet is this canvas silhouette of a teeny tiny doggie? I love the concept! The only thing better than a painted silhouette is one made with string!
Spruce up your Utensils!
Make your utensils fun again with a healthy dose of color! My favorite part? If you tied these up with a big blue bow they would be an ADORABLE housewarming gift! For cheap 😉 I’m all about saving money y’all…
Stencil a Piece of Furniture!
If you don’t want to re-paint your entire piece try stenciling a portion! A desktop or the front of a dresser… even the sides would make a great statement! The best part? Only doing a small section makes the job fly by… and it won’t use much paint!
Custom Made Kitchen Towels!
Is it just me or are kitchen towels (that are both affordable and cute!) hard to find? I couldn’t find any until our recent venture to IKEA! Try hand-painting plain white towels for a special touch! Plus this way you can stick to the color scheme of your kitchen… which is apparently important to me! Who knew?
Paint a Chair!
If you have an old chair that needs a spruce or an empty space where a chair would look great think about hitting the flea market! Bring home a gently worn old chair in need of some love and transform it with a little bit of paint and fabric medium… it’s a crazy idea that just might work! Take a look at the following transformations!
