I am absolutely in love with the simple Scandinavian look for Christmas. It’s so white, fluffy and simple. Of course, I’m not great with the simple so my personal style adds in a bit of rose gold but for today let’s focus on the traditional clean, fluffy accented, subtle, white lines of true Scandinavian style.
I can’t wait to see what new and exciting looks are out there this year… last year there were too many goodies to count! I mean just take a look at all these reasons to love a Scandinavian Christmas! This year I’m sure there will be just as many!
Elegant Scandinavian Additions for your Home:
This little advent calendar would be super easy to make: a few bottles, a few numbers and you're good to go! Simply roll paper with the little prizes or treats written on them and you're good to go.
A white linen napkin wrapped with a bit of jute, greenery and cinnamon is a easy DIY that anyone can do. Simple yet effective styling for your table.
This white room with the tall ceilings, beautiful tree and elegant mantle are pretty much the things dreams were made of. Absolutely beautiful.
Okay y'all... I could actually make these! They look simple and easy! I bet I could even make them in rose gold...
I'm use to filling every branch of my Christmas tree with an ornament but this simple tree is absolutely stunning. I love that the ornaments are all different animals in the same color so you know they'll go together!
These little gnomes are the absolute cutest... I absolutely love their full beards and little hats. These guys would be the cutest addition to just about any Christmas decor (Scandinavian or not!).
I absolutely love the simplicity of this little tree... it would take about five minutes to put together but is impactful in a big way.
These little stars are so cute! I love how they hang from the simple branch. Of course, while I love them on the wall they would be super cute hanging in the middle of the room so you could look up and see the stars.
Aren't these little ornaments adorable? I love the little trees and the embroidery hoops! You could whip up a few of these pretty easily.
Just look at that fluffy rug! Such a cozy spot for a bit of eggnog.
I absolutely love the look of greenery in water so this is the perfect project for me... especially because it looks like it takes about 2 mintues to put together. Simple and easy... done.
A girl can NEVER go wrong with chunky yarn so this is definitely a win. I absolutely love the braided look of the roving and the little tree isn't too shabby either.
I love all the layers of this little tree display... but mainly I love how they make this small and simple tree look absolutely beautiful. Making it obvious that you don't need a 12 foot tree to make the holiday complete.
How sweet would this be hanging in a kitchen? I'm in love with the sweet little cookie cutters and the touch of greenery.
These would be absolutely amazing for a tablescape... although with the ice I'm not sure how long they would last. Is there faux ice?
Greenery? Check! Cute white hats? Check! Adorable little faces? Check! These little gnomes are so chunky and sweet... wouldn't they be the cutest greeting your guests on their way up the walk way?
Stars seem to be heavily represented in the Scandinavian design that I see... so I bet these little stars are a fun way to represent on a Scandinavian tree.
If only that little gold ball was rose gold this little felt garland would be calling my name! As it is the over all vibe of this little garland is relaxed and rustic... perfect for the Scandinavian christmas decorations vibe.
I absolutely love how these paper bags dress up the trees without a huge price tag (like a metal tree skirt) or a lot of work!
This little hanging wreath reminds me of a snowman... and I love the flower swags they added to each of the hoops!
These little hanging advent wreaths with the taper candles always remind me of childhood... I'm not sure why since we never had one of these growing up!
That wood pile screans Sweeden while the greenery adds to the outdoorsy feel.
Chunky, knit, white, cloudlike beautifulness... I definitely need these. Does anyone know how to knit that loves me? I mean I know how to knit but who has the time! These babies are definitely a labor of love.
This little candle holder looks absolutely adorable on a mantle... although it could easilybe the centerpiece of your holiday table.
I have seen tall candle sticks like these ultra skinny, ultra modern, gold beautifes everywhere this year. The sleek lines are definitely in and they coordinate perfectly with the Scandinavian vibe.
