I was on Facebook the other day and saw a post that went a little something like this: “Do this search on Pinterest: ‘Scandinavian Christmas’. You’re welcome.”
Well, being the little rebel that I am I thought “that sounds interesting, let’s try it.” So I went over to Pinterest and found…
that I actually love a Scandinavian Christmas! Who knew?
If you’re looking for a decorating style this holiday season this goes so far beyond farmhouse. Try crisp whites, fluffy blankets, rustic stacks of lumber, big natural Christmas Trees (the real ones that help your entire house smell delicious while making it look like someone brought handfuls of Christmas Tree needles in your hosue and randomly stuck them in the sofa), sweet little deer busts and so much more.
Strings of yarn pom poms? Yes please!
I literally have been lusting over those almost as long as a pretty flocked tree!
Now give me a flocked tree with yarn pom pom strands… that might just be our winner!
Either way I’m getting off track here. This is the best trend you never knew existed and I’m firmly in love with this trend, on the band wagon, throwing aside my current Christmas decorations to run to the store and grab yarn for those cute yarn pom pom stands.
In the meantime I thought y’all might want to see what I’m talking about… so here is the full monty. All the Scandinavian goodness you can handle!
Plus just remember that if you click on the photo it will take you to the original source… where there may or maynot be even more Scandinavian goodness.

Love the Christmas tree in the straw basket. Do you have any idea where I can purchase the basket.

How early is too early to decorate for Christmas?! These ideas are so beautiful! I will totally be using this post as inspo. We are having our kitchen cabinets painted this month so I think we will have to wait for that project to be finished before we get our Christmas decorations out but this is making me so excited to get our tree up!
