Every once in a while a tablescape just comes together without even trying… which is the case with this pretty blush and rose gold tablescape I put together for this Thanksgiving. It’s a pretty fall table so whether you’re using it for a special holiday or just inviting friends over I think this little table could pull double duty.
Let’s jump right in.
Supplies:
- Blush Pink Dinner Plates
- Blush Pink Salad Plates
- Southern Living Cake Stand
- Squirrel Salt & Pepper Shaker
- Clear Ribbed Highball Water Glasses
- Copper Flatware
- Copper Maple Leaf Placemats
- Fall Leaf Table Runner
- Thankful Script Words
- Metallic Acorns
Step 1: Add Special Touches
Since I’m using this table for Thanksgiving I decided to whip up a few thankful script words to go across a few of the plates. I’ve seen these before but didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg on them… plus I wanted them to match my table exactly!
So I used my Cricut to cut out two Thankful script words and them I spray painted them to match the rose gold acorns I’m using on the opposite two plates. These should be super fun for dinner! Plus they were so inexpensive… really free for me since I already had all the materials.
I like to add these little special touches to any table but especially for Thanksgiving since it’s a nice reminder of what the holiday is really about.
Step 2: Decide on a Color Scheme
In this case I knew I wanted to use rose gold (since my acorns were already a rose gold color). So it was easy to work within that color scheme. I used a few pretty rose gold leaf placemats and even rose gold silver ware to add a bit more bling throughout the table.
From there I grabbed a table runner that has beautiful whites and creams with just a hint of copper throughout the details. That made it easy to bring in a similar cake stand in the same whites and creams.
Then it was a question of what plates to use but since I really wanted those thankful script words to be the star of the show I went with a solid plate underneath. We didn’t need any extra details!
Leaving us with a blush and rose gold color scheme!
Step 3: Don’t forget the finishing touches
Most of our table has come together flawlessly now… I just need a few finishing touches. A pair of adorable squirrel salt and pepper shakers is perfect for fall or thanksgiving and I picked up a few fun fall flowers that are the perfect scale.
I always like to use flowers where possible… and while real ones would be great these little fake bouquets will definitely last longer. And I love how they have little pink sunflowers! So cute!
Since I still want the thankful script words to be the star of the show I decided to forgo the pink glassware and instead use my clear lace glasses and dessert bowls. These are so pretty and delicate but since they’re clear they don’t add a lot of weight to the table which is perfect here… they don’t stand out at all.
Which is what I wanted!
How pretty did the over all table turn out?
Instead of putting a lot of thought into gathering materials or items for a centerpiece (like my fun summer mermaid table I just picked up) this little table came together flawlessly. I love it when that happens!
Enjoy and leave a comment on how you would use my little thankful script words on your table!
