I have been crafting up a storm lately… which means I’ve been buying all. the. crafting. blanks.
Blank signs are one of my absolute favorites because there are endless possibilities but let’s be honest… there’s an entire world outside of signs. So many possibilities!
Let’s jump right in and get started with this list of crafting blanks!
Mugs
The best part about collecting mugs are all the fun sayings and options there are to pick from… you can have an entire collection of cheeky fun mugs to drink your morning java out of! I think that’s why it’s so much fun to make your own mugs… because the cheeky sayings can be 100% original.
Just make sure to use a permanent vinyl so that your new mugs can withstand being washed without falling to pieces.
Chalkboard
These little menu board chalkboards are perfect for the menu of the day! Just use your cricut to cut out a sweet heading and then chalk your way to a meal prepped life.
Not ready for meal prep? Get a few of these in the mini size and use a chalkboard font to make them cute name tags for your latest dinner party.
Glass Container
These little glass jars are great for soap in the bathroom, spare toiletries in the guest room or even a little betta fish on your desk!
You can add a custom quote to the front and you’re set!
Tote Bags
I am always looking for a good tote bag… to bring on a cruise, to pack my planner materials, to go crafting at a friends house, to bring my Cricut supplies to my mom’s house. To put a puppy in!
Tote bags with a blanket in the bottom are great for a quick puppy carrier.
Apron
These little aprons would be perfect for adding your logo before hitting a craft fair! Not to mention a snarky saying before hitting the grill… bonus points if you make dad a kick butt father’s day present.
Handmade with love… he’s sure to love it!
Shadow Box
These little shadow boxes would be so cute for creating a little trip scrapbook or even a guest book at a wedding. They’re natural wood so a little paint, a custom decal and you can make them into almost anything!
Definitely one of a kind.
Blank Notebook
I am definitely a writer (which you probably know from the very fact that I write a blog in the first place!) but I’ve kept a diary for years. I’m always looking for new diaries with cute covers or sayings on them so I love the idea of putting a completely custom quote on my journal.
Of course, you could also make custom decals for each subject of your school notebooks or a custom cover for a notebook you’re using for conference notes. These little blank journals would be perfect for a custom decal… or even a spiral notebook.
If you make products for your business you can make a custom decal for the front of a new notebook… so that all your product sketches, item lists, pricing ideas, advertising, marketing etc is kept in one place.
Wine Glasses
I am absolutely in love with all the snarky wine glasses out there these days (are you counting how many times I say snarky in this post? it might be a lot!) but snarky wine glasses can be expensive.
Which is why I like to buy them blank on amazon and make them myself! A bit of permanent iron on and you can rose all day!
Clear Cutting Board
These little cutting boards are the absolute cutest idea… because you can absolutely personalize them! I received one as a wedding gift with my new last name and wedding date.
I think a bit of vinyl and a snarky saying (ok, you caught me… I just like to add snarky sayings to everything.) is the perfect addition to any saying. “My Kitchen was Clean Last Week… Sorry You Missed It!”
Stainless Steel Containers
Okay so these bad boys could be super cute with custom labels. Pasta anyone? Coffee grounds? Dog treats? Craft supplies? Hot glue sticks? Gardening stakes?
The possibilities are really endless… just get the right size and you’re good to go. Stainless steel containers for the win.
Pencil Pouch
How cute would one of these little pencil pouches be with a cute saying on the front? Maybe “Throw kindness around like confetti?” or “the write stuff”.
Get it?
I love using these little guys for fun teacher gifts… a little iron on, a few school supplies and a gift card makes this pencil pouch perfect for any teacher appreciation gift.
Barnwood Planks
8 inch barnwood planks in a pack of 8 for $14.99? That’s a pretty great deal for all of the farmhouse signs you could make!
Just think of all the quotes “always stay humble and kind” or my personal favorite “laundry today or naked tomorrow”.
Stuffed Animals
Growing up with a different name I never found my name on ANYTHING… how cute would a little stuffie look with your sweethearts name on the front.
This little stuffed bunny would be extra cute with a custom name on the foot… just use a tiny craft iron to set the iron-on and you’re good to go!
T-Shirts
Ready to make super cute shirts for the family reunion? Hoping to whip up a few sweet shirts for spirit week at your kiddos school?
A blank t-shirt, a little iron-on material, a cricut cut file and your Cricut Easy Press… now you’re ready to go!
Just like this cute little “unicorn hair, don’t care” t-shirt I whipped up after dyeing my hair last year.
Clear Water Bottles
These little water bottles are perfect if you’re looking to add names for all your kiddos or sports teams. Coaches can make custom bottles for each athlete so that everyone can keep track of their own water! Mama’s can make sure that water bottle never wanders off the sports field (or cafeteria) in the wrong back pack again.
Score!
Blank Sign
If you’re making a gallery wall then a blank sign can be the perfect solution! They’re inexpensive and come in lots of shapes and sizes. Plus you can add cute snarky sayings or more personal messages.
“Smith est 2014” or maybe “be a flamingo in a flock of pigeons” The possibilities are endless!
Canvas Shoes
These little canvas shoes are basically a blank canvas! I’ve seen quite a few people turn them into really cool character shoes… say for your house in Harry Potter? Cute hufflepuff shoes anyone?
My mama grabbed a pair that she wants me to spruce up for our next cruise… I can’t wait to share them with y’all.
Pillow Covers
Custom throw pillows? Yes, please! These little pillow covers come 4 to a pack and have a bunch of different colors. Which means the possibilities are endless.
I can’t wait to get started designing new pillows for my living room.
Acrylic Tumblers
These little acrylic cups could be so cute! I can see lots of flowers or decals followed by a cute quote.
Instant perfection.
Serving Tray
I love to stencil cute sayings onto a serving tray for breakfast in bed… or dinner in front of the tv. Whatever happens first.
Plus a cute tray is perfect for keeping together a project when you’re working with lots of little pieces. Work all day and then just pick it up at the end of the day to put it away!
Easy peezy.
Mason Jar Chalkboard
There are so many different ideas running through my head for this little mason jar chalkboard! It would be a super cute conversions chart for the kitchen… cups, ounces, liters. The whole nine yards.
Of course, it would be a pretty cute sign too… “home sweet home” or a cute quote? “when life hands you lemons put them in your sweet tea” or “raised no sweet tea and jesus”
Baby Onesies
Ready to make the cutest onesie decorating station ever? Grab a stack of onesies and whip up a few cute decals… then your shower activities can be layering vinyl to make your own designs!
Best dressed baby ever!
Glass Jars
Tiny glass jars or larger glass canisters these little guys are great for everything from party favors to utensil holders. I like to put sugar scrub in them for inexpensive holiday gifts!
Cell Phone Case
If you can’t find a cell phone case that you just love it’s easy enough to create one. Just think of the possibilities! I could keep going with my quest to add my logo on everything.
Logo cell phone cases? Yes, please!
