Cricut Storage Shelf on Wheels

Hey y'all,

I knew when I moved into the new house I needed Cricut storage for my craft room. Designated storage for all of my cricut machines that was beautiful yet functional… and hopefully on wheels so I could move it around. At the very least it needed to be open in the front and back so that my cutting mats could go back and forth without removing my Cricut from the shelf.

I thought about buying an inexpensive cart that I could easily move it around alllll over the place but between my Maker 3, Cricut Maker, Explore Air 2 and allllllll of my Easy Presses I would need several carts to house them all.

Plus why have an inexpensive cart when you can have a beautiful (real) piece of furniture that would both hold my Cricut’s and be a beautiful piece of furniture in my space.

So I searched the internet, I searched the stores, I looked and looked and looked for a piece of furniture with at least 3 shelves that would comfortably fit two Cricut machines side by side. That would fit on my designated wall while leaving space for a large framed pegboard to hang over shelf.

There were plenty of options but I landed on this three tier console table and I added wheels.

This little cart was pretty easy to organize… I wanted my Cricut Maker up top since it’s one of my most used machines (plus the pretty floral decals I added last year make this machine my favorite of all my machines). Since putting this little cart on wheels I usually pull it out from the wall and use my machines directly on the cart so having my most used machines on the top level is super helpful.

Sitting beside my Maker is my Easy Press 2 (the 9×9 version which is the middle size) and my pretty little Cricut tool organizer that holds all my tips and attachments for my machines. The box that’s under my Easy Press holds even more tools and attachments… plus it’s cute!

Of course, you can organize your shelf in a million different ways but my little shelf just keeps getting better. The second layer holds my large Easy Press (the 12 by 10 ), my easy press mini and one of my Cricut Explore Air 2’s. My second Explore Air 2 is on the bottom shelf next to a basket that holds a bunch of little things… that will eventually be replaced my Maker 3.

It’s just not in these photos since I just got it!

On the other hand you can see one of my little wheels in the photo above. They literally screwed in the bottom my little 3 tiered shelf into pre-drilled holes… easy peezy! And now my entire cart slides around easy peezy.

It makes me so happy.

Last but not least? I have my two minc machines hidden away underneath the entire shelf… they fit perfectly and the wheels let the shelf slide out over the top of them just fine. Easy enough!

All in all, I really love this little cart… and no this is not a sponsored post. I paid for that little shelf out of my own bank account. I put it together with my own two hands.

I just love it.

It goes with my other furniture (including my antique, hand-carved desk from Spain… so that was a big ask) and holds all of my machines. And I have a lot of machines.

I think this little cart is going to be a happy part of my craft room for many years to come.
