Where to Buy Cheap Curtain Rods

With my recent push to completely finish the house I realized that I have 9 windows and exactly two curtain rods! After a recent shopping trip to TJMaxx and Dirt Cheap I actually have fabulous curtains for each and every room… and now I need a few cheap curtain rods to hang them with!

All of that means that I’m going on a little virtual shopping trip for curtain rods. I need four double curtain rods (the type that will hang blackout curtains and decorative pair) and three extra long rods. I actually only have two extra long windows but the window in our guest room is skewed slightly to the left of the wall… so hanging the curtain rod high and long will give the window an illusion of being larger.

These aren’t decorative curtain rods y’all, they’re magic curtain rods!

Since I’m looking for curtain rods for almost every single room of the house I’m stuck between two options. The first option is buying matching curtain rods for every room… matching rods will place a common thread through every room and will ensure that your eye moves smoothly from space to space. On the other hand each room is different so a different (but similar) rod in each space will ensure that the rod matches that particular room.

Since the rods in our living room are white I’m contemplating silver, white or mercury glass for the rest of the house! Of course that means copious amounts of research… which I am sharing with all of you!
