It’s almost spring and y’all know what that means… a brand new Thrift Store Swap!!! This will be our fourth swap so we’re really starting to kick this thing into high gear. This round will have even more bloggers than ever before… which means even more projects!
I’m so excited! Before we dive right in let’s do a quick refresh on how the swap works… each blogger buys 2 thrift store items for under $10 dollars and sends them to the next blogger in the chain! It’s one big circle with 15 bloggers and 30 awesome thrift store transformations!
Since this go-round is all about spring we’re changing things up just a bit. Each gal will still buy two items but one will be a spring wreath… while the other is still a surprise!
I mean we have to keep the mystery alive somehow… just look at the awesome projects that have come from it!
I always love going shopping (I mean really… who doesn’t!?) but I scheduled this particular shopping trip to coincide with my trip to Mom’s house! So the hubby had a blast (like he always does 😉 ) but this was Mom’s first trip.
She had quite the time trying to figure out what we were shopping for! After explaining it a couple times she caught on… and we found a few really awesome items for Kim over at Made in a Day! I mean check this out:
I really loved this little copper pan… I almost bought it for myself! Mom made me put it back though… and since I forgot my purse at home she was bankrolling this shopping trip and therefore had veto power. #dontforgetyourpurse
On the other hand I had just enough veto power to tell her no to these little gems… you’re welcome Kim!
I know you’re all wondering what I bought for Kim… but you’ll just have to wait and see! In the meantime check out some of her other project’s… like this Stenciled Owl Pillow Cover, Birch Tree Wall Art or DIY Black Gold Gallery Wall.
