Open House at the Waters 2015!

Hey y'all

I don’t know about y’all but I love walking through an open house… the inspiration, the floor plan… the dreams! Walking through a brand (spanking) new gorgeous house is like opening up a can of untouched peanut butter… perfection!

The hubby and I are still renting so open houses are kind of addicting to us… we love to walk through and imagine what life will be like one day when we are able to buy our very own home! Our very favorite place to look at open houses? Pike Road, Alabama… at a little community called the Waters!

Just look at the pictures… wide sidewalks, sprawling front porches, tall trees, green space… and the lake! On top of all that it’s a little community with a Dentist, Orthodontist and a brand new school! I’ve been to this little neighborhood 3 times in the last 3 years (once a year for the Chapel Market) and we absolutely love the neighborhood.

If my hubby could move in tomorrow he would.

Wouldn’t you?

It looks like a picture book neighborhood! Really it’s just as pretty in person! We won’t be looking to buy a house for a couple of years but if we have the money ( 🙂 ) we would love a house like one of these. Especially since the community has recently approved Victorian designs! I love gingerbread!

While each house is different every single one that I’ve seen (we toured several last year… and this year 😉 ) is absolutely gorgeous. Crown molding, gorgeous cabinets… the whole nine!

Last year we toured a gorgeous white two story home right on the lake… this year we toured the Belmont! The real estate gal was so sweet to show it to us… now we just have to spend the next few years (while the hubby’s in school) working on our savings and down payment! I would love to live in a Victorian-esque Belmont!
