Pizza is my all time favorite food… I love me some cheesy bread and cheese pizza (with extra cheese and extra sauce!). I love pizza so much that I may or may not be on a strict pizza budget… this was enforced after I bought 20 ranch cups from Domino’s instead of driving to the store to purchase ranch. Sorry honey!

Hahaha yeah that would be me… Betsy is not a bad cook by any means she just doesn’t always have the patience for it. On top of that I did go to two years of Culinary Arts school so I have a little practice making things in the kitchen.
The weirdest things that I have ever eaten are Rocky Mountain Oysters. I was not informed that they were… let’s just say not oysters. I then proceeded to throw up violently for a couple hours.
Yes I happen to detest olives with a passion. I hate them, hate them, hate them. They look like little eye balls staring at me and they taste even worse than they look.
I don’t know that I have one currently. We really haven’t lived here long enough for me to have found a place but I will definitely keep my eye out for some in the near future.
My 5 Questions!
Do you know what Pantone’s color of the year is and how do you feel about so called “girly” colors in your home?
I don’t know what the color of the year is… or what Pantone is. However as far as “girly” is concerned I never subscribed to girl colors or boy colors. There are just colors and they look as good as the room you put them in. I never thought I would have a baby blue desk.
If you could change one room or area of your home with no decorating advice from Betsy, what area would you choose and why?
My office, because I want it to be more of a man cave than an office. I’d get a new office chair, paint the walls GREEN, and bring my entire collection of books into the office. Although this is for one day when I have my own office… we’re still sharing right now.
Are you ever worried Betsy will share too much personal information or that blogging might invade your private life?
I always caution Betsy on what she puts online, I don’t mind some things but there are definitely things in our lives that should be kept private.
Have you ever helped Betsy style photos for her blog or offer input on how you think a vignette should look?
What’s a vignette? (explains what a vignette is) Well the fact that I don’t know what a vignette is probably answers the question for me! Betsy has way more creativity then I do so I tend to just let her do what she has to do.
You hear me talk about the blog enough, what are your goals for Betsy’s Blog?
Well first of all I am a little biased. My wife is the most talented women I know, so I tend to shoot a little high when it comes to my goals for her. It’s not that I am an overachiever, I just know that she can rock it if she tries. My goal for the blog right now is to have 20,000 views a month by the end of the year and to begin monetizing.

I really need to get my hubby in on these post! I love it. I love how hes so honest about the cooking and how he mentions to warn about posting online. Great post!!
He is nothing if not honest… But he’s better about the whole filter thing! I need to get better about it before we have kids
Great way to get to meet you! Love all the interesting questions and your answers.
Thanks Sicorra! I love this series because it gives my hubby a structured way to interact with readers! He’s such a big part of my projects and the blog… But could never sit down and write a post on his own!
What a great idea! I have been toying around with letting my husband write a post for my blog, but this is just genius & I love it!
I’m glad you like it Kara it’s so much fun to have him participate and this gives him a no pressure way to write a post!
Ha ! Love this I need to do this to my husband he’s a mess so there is no telling ! This is a fun way to mix it up 🙂

Thanks Kenzie! You’re such a doll!
I love The Man Behind The Blog posts. They’re hilarious! He’s on a pizza budget, that part cracked me up!!
Yes… A very strict pizza budget 😉 sometimes he will go to my moms house to order pizza (you know trying to be sneaky) and my mom will call me and tell me “he’s eating pizza!!! Pizza alert!”
Nice to meet you! 🙂 Thanks for introducing yourself.
Anytime! Thanks for stopping by!
Please know, he is NOT the only one who has ordered unruly amounts of ranch from a pizza place! My man has done that at least twice, that I know about!
His responses are so great, I LOVE his honesty!

Such a cute post idea .Hilarious that he bought all that ranch instead of going to the grocery store .Love how proud he is of you!
He really is the cutest! He is definitely proud of me, he is my biggest supporter! Then again he was VERY proud of himself for thinking to order all that ranch… So who knows if that’s a compliment! 😉
This is a fun post. Fun hearing about him.
Thanks Debbie, you’re such a sweetheart for stopping by!
That is cute, my husband helps a lot on the blog, maybe I will try something like this to give him a voice. Thanks for sharing.
You should! I talk about the hubster all the time on the blog so this is a fun way for readers to hear from him!
I love pizza too.. Just love the taste.. I can eat the same all day 🙂
He is completely the same way! Sometimes I think if he was only able to eat pizza every day for the rest of his life he would be perfectly happy!
I also love pizza. Great idea to let your husband take over the blog for a day. It gives you an even broader view of you, the writer.
You are so right Amy! It’s so fun to have him do this with me… It’s fun to see things through his eyes!
That totally stinks that you ate the “oysters” unknowingly! I would have thrown up violently as well!
Even the thought of eating those “oysters” gives me the heebee jeebees… Not sure how he handles it! Yuck! Thanks for stopping by to comment Liz!
I’m not a fan of olives either. How lucky are you to have a husband who cooks. My husband hasn’t cooked in years, before we had kids he would occasionally cook. But I think it’s been about three years since he has cooked dinner.
I am definitely a lucky gal! I know most men don’t cook (my dad didn’t… he tried to make cookies once and it was a giant disaster!) luckily the hubby does! I say luckily because I don’t like to cook… so we’d probably be eating the same 5 recipes if it was left to me!
I think the oyster part was funny. If you ever watch Food Network, you will know these are not for the faint of heart. I enjoyed reading your answers. 😉
Maybe that’s his problem… Too much ESPN and not enough Food Network! Haha! I think the oysters were back before his culinary training… So he had no idea! Thanks for stopping by Mary!
I love it when the husband blogs. I wish my husband would do this, too.
You should encourage him to… I love reading all the husbands answers to the questions! It’s such a fun monthly post… Plus you get to learn things you may not have known about your own hunny!
Hi! It’s nice to meet you and know somethings about you. It’s so cute when husbands take over the blog for a day.
Nice to meet you too! I’m so glad you stopped by and that you liked the post!
I hope to get my wife involved in blogging too. What great inspiration!
You should have her answer the questions! It’s a fun no pressure way to get them involved… They don’t have to write a whole post or anything! Plus it’s fun to read the answers! Good luck Jonathan… Thanks for stopping by!
This is cool! I love his answers! Are you considering helping him make the office into a man cave?! Also, I love that he has high goals for you, you’ll totally achieve them 🙂
I know he wants a man cave… but since his office is literally the first room you walk into in our house… and open to the kitchen? Probably not the best place for a man cave! Haha! I know he has big plans for one day though!
I had no idea what Rocky Mountain Oysters were until I saw them on a cooking show. I would be sick after as well.
I am almost sick just thinking about it! I don’t know where I first heard about the “oysters” but I definitely wouldn’t eat them! Yuck!
I really enjoyed reading this article. It was fun getting to know your significant other. I’m in love with cheesy bread myself 🙂
Now cheesey bread I can get behind! Thank you so much for stopping by!
