July was a good month around here… I can’t believe it’s already time for another Round Up! Not only did we take two separate trips (one to Colorado and one to Kentucky) to visit family (hi Dad!) (and Trevor’s Dad!) but we had tons going on at home. As you all saw last week with my messy house tour the house is still a giant mess! Trevor got more done in the last two days then I was able to complete the entire time he was gone (thanks flu!). Oh well… at least we’re finally getting somewhere!
I think the best part of July are my new friends from the Thrift Store Swap! We have been working together for the past few months but during July we really kicked it up a notch! We added new people to the group and are coming back for a second Swap in September! Either way the three ladies who started this swap with me way back when are completely fabulous… it’s so nice to have blogging friends!
If you haven’t already hop over and check out their stellar blogs! Tracy blogs over at At Home with Sweet T, Lyn blogs at Mid Michigan Mom and Lisa blogs at Five Kids, a Dog and a Blog! I’m still getting to know the new girls but a couple have really jumped in and made themselves at home in our little group! Brittany and Samantha team up to run the blog DIY Just Cuz, Laci blogs at Sequins in the South and Tiffani blogs at Not Your Average Southern Belle!

Great posts! Any post with the words “Thrift Store” totally grab my attention every time! 😉
Ahh a girl after my own heart! I love thrift stores too! Thanks for stopping by Sandy!
Wow! You had a busy month! I am loving your thrift store swap series! I am a huge fan of Goodwill and other thrift stores (I collect antique dishes) and I always see random things that inspire me, but I walk away from it. I’m definitely going to have to start collecting some of their less desirable treasures and making them new again!
I always did the same thing… if I saw something I loved I would grab it up but otherwise run away! It’s kind of fun to walk in looking for things to be re-purposed!
My, my what a busy month July was! Great post!
I always feel that every month is more busy than the last! That’s a good thing though (I think) an empty month would be so boring! Thanks for stopping by Claudette!
