7 Simple Furniture Projects

Hey y'all,

After paint my craft room desk a gorgeous shade of blush last month I’m kind of on a furniture painting kick! I’ve always enjoyed painting furniture but after finishing a piece that I love I’m itching to start on my next project. Which is only a problem because I don’t have an endless supply of furniture to paint… so instead I’ll surf the internet for simple furniture projects to curb my furniture painting urges.

The best part? All 7 of these projects are from the Welcome Home Wednesdays link party! Which is kind of awesome… it’s like all my friends came over to show me their furniture projects.

Which is kind of awesome.

Of course, furniture projects is a fairly wide topic. We’re talking painted furniture, coat racks, printer carts, storage pieces… the whole shebang. I still can’t decide which piece is my favorite though… luckily I can like all of them!

Check out all 7 Simple Furniture Projects:

One word: Maps.

This little guy is an IKEA hack which immediately endears it to me but the map kind of seals it. I love the pop of color and pattern it brings!

Then there’s this little hall tree… it’s kind of the perfect entry way. Can you believe that’s bead board wallpaper?

Quick tip! If you like one of these 7 Simple Furniture Projects just click on the photo to go to the original post!

I kind of love this printer cart (probably because a printer cart is the only thing I haven’t scored for my craft room makeover…) but also because it’s amazing. I love the contrast of the dark wood and the black legs. It’s the perfect contrast. The whole piece is a great mix of form and function… which is the best way to be.

White, chippy, antique, goodness.

Enough said.

I think re-purposing an old drawer from an unsalvagable dresser counts as a furniture project… I mean it was part of furniture?! Either way I kind of love this little guy… he would be the cutest centerpiece in a rustic room.

Of course, these little side-tables aren’t too shabby either. (Get it? Shabby? Like shabby chic… I’m very punny today *wink wink*)(I know y’all didn’t deserve that… I’m sorry for my earlier behavior).

Either way y’all should click through to look at these little side-tables… they have the cutest surprise inside each drawer!

I kind of love this little stool… a french script seat definitely sets it off! I love that extra special little touch…. it just wouldn’t be the same without it!

Well, which piece was your favorite?! I don’t think I can pick just one so I’ll pick all of them! If you love them as much as I do don’t forget to Pin for Later!
