So this past weekend while we were in Atlanta I convinced my hubby to make a “small” side trip to IKEA!!! Ahhhhh SHOPPING AT IKEA! I absolutely love this store… but then again who doesn’t? Even if I don’t buy a single thing… the simple act of exploring is so much fun! I love all of their storage and organizing solutions! I love all of their tiny fake apartments! Mostly I just love IKEA! We never seem to hit IKEA when there is an opportunity to make big purchases… so we tend to come home with things out of the dollar bin! Hey, no big deal… who doesn’t love a great bargain?!
Like this set of chip clips! Fun colors, multiple sizes, 30 clips… all for $2.99? Score! Plus my husband fell in love with this knife sharpener… he’s a man after my own heart!
While I love browsing IKEA for ideas a lot of their decor is a tidge modern for my taste. Our favorite “room”? This amazing grey kitchen! My hubby and I both loved the color choices, large island, and appliances but would love a bit more charm. Maybe a rustic range hood and beautiful glass pendents? Either way the whole effect was amazing!
This runner almost came home with me… honestly it was this close to hopping in my basket! I don’t normally love anything with brown or gold in it but this soft blue was so beautiful… plus the paisley pattern was adorable! If we were staying in our current home it would already be rolled out but I just couldn’t justify spending $40 bucks on a hall runner when I have no idea if our next home will have a hall! I suppose we will just have to make a return trip if we need this little gem!
These dish towels might have been my favorite purchase. 5 large dishtowels for $3 bucks! What a deal??? I ended up buying two packs so now we have 10 new dishtowels! Plus they are all different white and blue patterns so they will look amazing in our kitchen!
I absolutely loved these trashcans… why I don’t know! The sleek lines are so not me… plus they kind of remind me of batteries… but I thought they were so cute! I wish I had an appropriate place to put them!
These little trays were so cute! They reminded me of lace doilies… I bought one big one and two small ones, just in case I need them! For $2 it was totally worth it!
Of course Trevor’s favorite part was the cart… it had weird wheels that spun in every direction! So you could roll front to back or side to side… he was absolutely amazed!
