Episode 3: Flooded Bathroom, Copper Kitchen and Memory Planning

Welcome to week 3 on our little video journey… this week has been a week and a half. Honestly it’s felt more like a month! In the past 5 weeks I have had 2 days off that weren’t dedicated to Haven and I planned to jam those 2 days fuuulllll of projects.

All of that was thrown out the window when we had an impromptu flooded bathroom. I don’t mean a little bit of water either I mean it flooded y’all! Water was up to my ankles in the bathroom… the hallway carpet was soaking wet. The whole thing was ridiculous and took so. many. hours. to fix.

It’s still not fixed but at least it’s getting better!

As I said above our bathroom flooded this week. It was such a big deal our house still smells… I’ll keep you updated on all the changes and whether our landlord ends up replacing the carpet or letting us live with the smell. Eww.
Somehow I ended up talking a bit about my hubby’s laundry skills and why I’m wearing a college t-shirt in this video instead of a cute top. I was specifically not going to mention this so obviously I have mad self control.
I showed y’all my pretty new copper 2-tiered basket! I am definitely going to find room for this bad boy in my kitchen but even more exciting are my plans for a brand new kitchen makeover… I cannot wait to share that with all of you!
I started working in my memory planner this week! I am completely obsessed with my Happy Planners… for sure! The best part? My cute llama sticker… and y’all even helped me decide how to use it over on Instagram!
