This week was my favorite Welcome Home Wednesday Link Up this far! Why? Because there were so many fantastic paint projects… and y’all know how I feel about a good paint project! I mean I’m working on an entire eBook about paint… you could say it’s my jam!
Just like this adorable kitchen stool… definitely my jam! 😉 If you love the after you should check out the before! It’s like night and day y’all… I am seriously going to track down one of these babies! My Nana had one growing up and it definitely brings back fond memories of sitting in her kitchen eating tiny little ice creams and hearing her say ” you always have room for ice cream… it just fills in the cracks!”
Y’all might remember this particular project from last week… I do love this little wood slice! Last week we had a glimpse at the finished project but this week we were given a peek behind the curtain… at the fun little paint technique that was used to paint this baby!
Now this post is definitely near and dear to my heart… it’s all about painting your walls! Plus she uses Sherwin Williams paint… which we all know is my favorite! I am biased though… so take that into account! I love the color she picked for her homes… and the journey she took to get there!
How sweet is this little silverware box? I would love to see it filled with gorgeous silverware (although pretty hydrangeas are a close second!) I love the distressed way she finished the box as well as the gorgeous filigree details! How pretty is the finished product?
Kitchen cabinets… the bane of everyone’s existence. Either they’re gorgeous or they’re horrible… it seems like there’s no in between! Of course just because you start with hideous cabinets doesn’t mean you have to keep them that way… a coat of paint goes a long way!
I am loving this sweet little cutting board sign! There have been so many adorable cutting board projects lately that I’m dying to read out to the thrift store to pick up my very own cutting board.
Now this one is genius! Wine racks seem to be on every single shelf… but there’s only a certain amount of wine storage a single girl needs! But ribbon storage? Now that’s something you can never have too much of! Wine and ribbon together just might be the perfect solution! Plus this project looks so easy… all you need is a good can of spray paint to cover that funky old wine rack!
The last project on my little list is an IKEA hack… the best type of project! How sweet would this little stool be for the kitchen? Maybe even the bedroom… I don’t know about y’all but my little fur babies need an extra boost to jump on the bed! So a little stool is always helpful. I love the fun paint job on this particular stool… it’s pretty adorable!
Which project is your favorite?
I think the step stool. I have one, yea! I gave it a make over about 15 years ago, but it’s whispering to me it’s time to do it again… that cute make over has given me motivation to try yet again!
Second make-over’s are my favorite… it’s always fun to see how you can re-invent the same wheel! Thanks for stopping by Deanne!
I love the wood slice with the stencils, that is such a cute idea for so many different projects. I have been meaning to slice the bottom off of each Christmas tree and making an ornament each year from the slice, but I never get around to it. I love how the project you showed turned out, I will actually have to follow through on my intentions this year.
That is such a cute idea! I think I’ll have to steal it!! It would be so easy to cut off a slice and then make it into a super cute ornament! Modge podge? Sharpie… the possibilities are endless! Thanks for stopping by Cara!
