Since our cabinets just got a pretty coat of SW Site White I thought I’d share my favorite 25 paint colors for kitchen cabinets! There’s a few trendy white cabinets (like mine) but I think my favorites are the blues! One day I will definitely have the blue cabinets of my dreams… but not in this rental.
When you’re elbow deep in paint or scrubbing dried adhesive off your hands after hours of backsplashing (I’ve decided backsplashing is a word… just go with it) you have to spend a minute dreaming about why you’re doing the renovation in the first place. So I’m putting the entire kitchen makeover on hold to take a look at a little bit of inspiration!
I mean just look at this set of cabinets! With the location I can only imagine the large blue piece on the back wall is their refrigerator… and that’s amazing. I can only dream of one day having a fridge this gorgeous!

The best part of this entire round-up is the room above… I was surfing Pinterest (looking through all of the pretty kitchen cabinets I had pinned for inspiration) when I looked up to see the exact same room on the make-over show I was watching!
I’ve been knee-deep in a Fixer Upper marathon all week but this was over a lunch break… so I only had thirty minutes to watch a quick show and look at a few cabinets. I pulled up youtube and there was a new Houzz makeover… it just makes me realize how small the world is! And how trendy some of these kitchens are that they show up time and time again in different makeovers.
Also if you haven’t seen a Houzz makeover, I love this one. It’s a living room, dining room, kitchen makeover and the designer does a fabulous job of making he entire space gorgous and incorporating the kiddos art… which I thought was amazing. Professionally designed spaces are great but at the end of the day our spaces are lived in so I love that those little touches were incorporated here instead of hidden away.
