Last Christmas I decided it would be super cute to wrap all of our gifts in plain brown kraft paper and use fun holiday gift tags and ribbions and strings. It turned out super cute and since we bought a HUGE roll of brown kraft paper we still have a bunch left.
So I thought I’d make use of the same paper once again this year but mix it up with the tags. Maybe we’ll go bright and colorful, we could use big bright colored ribbon and make some fun yarn pom poms! There are so many ways to dress up your gifts that don’t have to come from a big box store.
Wide ribbons, fluffy yarn, pom poms, leaves, glitter tags, tassels, pretty bows… there are so many ways to make a package pretty! Plus they’re so interesting, making a package uniquely one of a kind.
Since I’m not sure which way we’re going this year I decided to find as many pretty gift tags as possible. Then I’ll try to narrow it down (although I’m really thinking bight and colorful this year!). Of course, I decided to share all my finds with all of you… so that you can get started on your gift wrap too!
Win Win!

I don’t typically do traditional reds and greens but these are sooo pretty I might just have to change my mind. A little brown twine, a few leaves and sticks… these little tags would be adorable! Add in a few metallics and we’re talking over the top y’all. Traditional, country holiday with pop… but what type of metallics? A second solid red shiney card (cardstock is cheap), a mettalic ribbon?
Something fun!
Honestly these colorful little tags are probably winning for me. I love the bright colors and there are so many different ways to accessorize.
They’re just so cute!
These little cards are actually blank so that you can color them in! So I guess they could fit any color scheme or be completely neutral if you left them blank. That’s kind of fun by itself.
Blue and green in an untraditional color palette… now this is one I could get behind. These little tags are super sophisticated. I kind of love them.
