It’s been a crazy week over here in the Smith household! I have been hard at work designing gift bags, shopping for Christmas and trying get all our presents wrapped! Since I’ve had an absolute blast getting back in the swing of things designing gift bags and tissue paper I just couldn’t stop myself… I had to design a new set of gift tags! I think I’ll send these off to some of my girlies with their Christmas presents.
They’re so sweet with their fun colors!
These would be perfect for presents for little ones or even your girlfriends! Just take a look!
I am loving getting back behind the monitor and spending some time putting together freebies for y’all! Want to know my secret to quick and fun printables like these? Graphic Stock! Honestly y’all they have the cutest designs… just download your files and then spend a few hours designing to your hearts content!
I spent about 20 minutes browsing Graphic Stock and found sooo many adorable images & vectors that would make wonderful tags! Since I knew I wanted to create around 6 tags I set out with a plan to find 6 cohesive vectors!
If you would love to design your own printables here are a few quick and easy steps to follow along!
Step 1:
When you’re looking to create multiple pieces that go together it’s best to set a few guidelines. Since colors and fonts can be easily changed I looked for elements that were similar: curved, smooth, slightly imperfect with filigree and snowflakes.
Step 2:
Take your elements and combine them to create a vision board so that you know you’re on track. I included my vision board below… you can see the six elements I picked from my final vectors to make sure they all went to together. Even though I picked about 20 different vectors I whittled it down to 6 final designs that would become our tags!
Step 3:
Once you have your final six designs picked it’s time to create your vision board! Go ahead and include any elements you might see on your final printables… colors, fonts, vectors, the whole shebang. Once your vision board is complete you’ll be all set to design whatever you like! Gift tags, wall printables, greeting cards… literally anything!
Step 4:
Now that your colors and vectors are picked out it’s time to create your finished product! I like to use illustrator so that changing colors is quick and easy… simply use the magic wand tool to select one color (like the purple candles in the first vector) and change them to one of the colors in your new color palette!
Volia! With new colors and fonts your vectors are ready for the big time… just check out the tags I made for y’all!
I can’t wait to see what else I can design for y’all in the next few months! I have so many plans… starting with a new planner design coming out in January! I can’t wait to show you!

Do you have a higher quality image of the mint and mauve Christmas tags? Or maybe I don’t see the link to download them. I thought they were free but I’m not sure. I love the designs of all of those tags! Thanks!
