How to Save Memories with NO Time or Craft-ability!

I was definitely not your typical college student, friday nights often found me hanging out with my two besties in our dorm room. We would put a movie on in the background and Rachel would crochet while Ashley and I would scrapbook.

We were definitely the cool kids ;).

Either way we would have an absolute blast! Ash and I always tried to talk Rachel into scrapbooking with us but she didn’t enjoy it. Said she wasn’t crafty enough (which I still don’t believe… she was an art major y’all!).

I love the scrapbooks I made during those long college nights… but today I barely have the time to flip through the albums let alone carefully craft a fun page! With a lack of time I absolutely love my new Shutterfly photo albums.

I’m still hoping to make a dedicated scrapbook with all my pretty pictures but this is such a good alternative! The hubs and I put one together for our engagement photos… we also bought FOUR for our parents last Christmas.

They were a big hit… although somedays I think Mom likes the orange shutterfly box better than her actual album. She says it makes the perfect puzzle piece organizer… go figure.

After making a few of these babies myself I know exactly how much time it takes to piece an entire book together (Mom’s Christmas book took about 6 hours to make!) so here’s the perfect solution… Shutterfly’s new Make My Book service!

My favorite part is how many photos you can fit on a page… I don’t know about y’all but I have HUNDREDS of photos from our wedding and I really wanted to include ALL of them. I love the way they’ve laid out each and every one!

Plus the lay-flat pages are kind of killer… in the spread above the picture where the hubs and I are on the road? That’s his absolute favorite photo from our anniversary and without lay-flat pages his sweet face would be directly in the pages crease. No bueno!

You can upload all of your photos and they’ll put together your entire book for you… of course you get total veto power before the final book goes into production. The whole process only takes a couple days so you can put an entire book with absolutely NO craft skills what-so-ever… how awesome is that?

I know we just received this book but since we just received our anniversary photos I kind of need another one… I guess I know what I’m doing tonight!
