Rose Gold Plan With Me Using Scrapbook Paper

Alright y’all… I finally did it. I bit the bullet and picked up the Happy Planner box punch! I have wanted it since it came out but let’s be honest… I don’t actually use planner paper in my planner that often! I have wanted to but since I’m always using sticker kits I’ve never felt the need.

I found myself needing more decorative full boxes as I played around with my Mambi Sticker Books so I picked up the regular box punch… and then I spent the night punching so. many. boxes.

I am absolutely in love with how this week turned out and alllll the pretty paper options that open up to you when you start using scrapbook papers.

Supplies:

My Minds Eye Scrapbook Paper Pack
Mambi Box Punch
Heart Sticky Notes
Rose Gold Washi Tape
Rose Gold Half and Quarter Boxes
Rose Gold Movie Marquee
Fun Swan/Girl Stickers
Rose Gold Foiled Headers/Small Icons

I picked this rose gold paper pack from My Mind’s Eye for this week because I absolutely love all the fun patterns… especially those foiled flowers! I love how working with scrapbook papers makes it so easy to coordinate the entire spread.

Basically using any papers in the pack makes the spread look cohesive… which is my new favorite thing.

I absolutely loved the foiled title on the cover… so I decided to make it into a fun double box! I fussy cut a few of the flowers from the paper pack to cover parts of the double box that had writing and then added a layer of washi on the bottom.

It turned into the cutest little double box! I think using scrapbook papers really pushes your creativity in a way that sticker kits don’t and I loved the process of fitting allllllll the different pieces together.

Since this week was a conference week I made sure to mark down all the little bits and pieces that make up a conference. I used a few (ok like a million!) rose gold quarter boxes to label the different classes and activities.

I love that it keeps me organized and makes it easy to remember which classes I have picked out.

I just throw my planner in my bag and I’m good to go.

Of course, using scrapbook paper makes each and every box a bit more patterned then decorative… there aren’t any little scenes or quotes. Which is ok but not quite as interesting. So I added a few fun stickers for interest (like the messy hair don’t care box) and the entire week really came together.

Let me know which part is your favorite in the comments!

Thanks Sherrie! I didn’t think I needed it but I actually love how it turned out… I’ve done several spreads like this since the first one and I love it!
