With the end of May comes the beginning of June… and my birthday! Yay! This year will be extra special because one of my best friends is getting married two days before my birthday! Since we’re so focused on weddings around here it was a blast to work on a special wedding series for the blog. Six weeks of fun freebies and wedding goodness… now that’s my kind of fun.
May was our second wedding anniversary and we’re finally taking the photos I planned a year ago… wish me luck! We actually celebrated our anniversary a few days late because I was in Chicago for the actual day. Mom and I went to the Share-a-sale Think Tank in Chicago to learn a little bit more about blogging and meet amazing people. Take a peek at all the fun…
It was an absolute blast!
I can’t wait for next year! In the meantime let’s take a look at all the fun posts we looked at in May!

How to Keep Track of the Paint Colors in Your Home!
Painting your home can be extremely frustrating… there’s just so many little steps! First there’s picking a color, picking a sheen, figuring out how much paint you’ll need, then picking a paint… and then after all that you actually have to paint the wall! You’d think that with all the time and effort that goes into picking a paint color you’d have that paint name and sheen imprinted on your brain forever.
Nope!
Five years from now when your kiddos throw a baseball through the kitchen wall and you have to touch up the paint job you won’t remember which color you picked let alone which paint you chose

Anthropologie makes the cutest pom pom’s… I love their wreaths, garland, just about anything with their adorable wood tufted pom poms! Of course they’re way too pricey for me so I’ve been dying to DIY my own version for months now!

15 Gorgeous Table Lamps
Last week I was chatting with a friend about decorating (you know… ’cause I’m obsessed!) and somehow the conversation turned to lamps. How to find cute ones, why they cost so dang much… the whole darn shebang. We’re in the market for new lamps for our bedroom at the moment… we have 2 beautiful mercury glass lamps that I love but they’re too delicate!

How to Clean Pet Stains out of Carpet with Bissell: Which method works best?
Alright besties I have to let you behind the curtain for a second… can I tell you a secret? My sweet little yorkie baby has a potty problem.
Yuck!
She’s getting better but sometimes her little eight pound body just can’t hold it! We’re putting in a doggy door that should help with the problem but in the meantime we need a little bit of damage control on the carpet situation!
Of course with a potty problem I’ve tried every carpet cleaning solution on the market… and none of them seem to hold up to my little angel! So I’m running my very own experiment… I’ve pulled two carpet cleaning solutions off Pinterest and I’m going to see which one works the best!
