Can you believe it’s already the end of October? This month has gone soooo fast! It’s like I’ve been on a roller coaster ride for the entire last week!
If you haven’t read a Man Behind the Blog post before this is how it works… every month Betsy from Heavens to Betsy posts 5 fabulous questions for the guys to answer. We get our guys to respond to her questions and then we head over to her blog to link-up! The best part? After hearing my hubby’s answer’s you can head over and see what all the other guys have to say! The link-up over at Heavens to Betsy happens the last Thursday of every month… so grab your guy and meet us there! I can’t wait to read all the answers!
Check out the hubsters answers for October…
We’re headed into fall, which means cooler temps for most of us…are you a warm weather or cold weather kind of guy?
Oh my God that’s not even a question. I am definitely a cold wheather kind of guy! Even in the winter I want the air conditioner on… Betsy hates it. She’s always telling me how much of a popsicle I make her! Last summer she bought this cool gel pad for our dog… it’s suppose to go outside to keep the dog cool. It was on clearance so she bought it even though it’s an XL size… it was meant for a Lab and we have a yorkie that never stays outside! I may or may not sleep on that cool gel pad in the summer. It keeps me cool ;).
What’s the best Halloween costume you’ve ever worn?
Well most of my Halloween costumes were homemade… so it varied from year to year. I think my favorite one was when my Mom tried to make me into a sumo wrestler… we spent almost an hour stuffing pillows everywhere to make me big enough! When we were done everyone took turns smacking me around… I couldn’t feel anything!
What’s your favorite Halloween candy?
I don’t remember what it’s called… the 100 Grand bar? It’s nutty and carameley and awesome! I would go through my candy every year just to pick those out!
What are your favorite parts of fall (ex: football, the weather, Thanksgiving, etc)?
Well when we lived in Colorado my favorite part was the changing of the Aspen trees. There was a back road from Divide to Cripple Creek and the entire drive is filled with these Aspen trees.
How do you feel about pumpkin spice lattes?
Personally? Anything pumpkin isn’t my first choice… it sounds refreshing? I would prefer something more french vanilla.
My 5 Questions!
How do you feel about un-traditional curtains… say ones made out of sheets!
You came up with this question didn’t you? You’re such a brat! Um I have no problem with it… it really depends on the fabric. The problem is trying to put the wrong color into the wrong room!
*Ahem… he thinks the sheets I bought for our kitchen curtains are too dark. Whatever… it’s going to be fabulous!
We’ve been doing a lot of work on the house lately… what is your favorite thing we’ve done?
My favorite project was doing the kitchen. It was a lot of work and it sucked most of the time but you could see your progress. I like to know that the work I’m doing actually makes a difference… plus I got a big kiss from you when you came home to find the kitchen was finished being painted!
If we were building our dream home what is one feature you would absolutely insist on?
If we were building our dream home? I would insist on a large bathroom… I really really want a master bath! Ever since you moved out of your first apartment we’ve only had these stupid little tubs. You can’t take a bath and they always make you hurt more than help!
If you could time travel back to the day before I started the blog… would you tell to start the blog?
Absolutely I would. I’ve always supported the blog and I would never tell you not to do something that you were so good at. Especially something that you really wanted to do.
Where do you see the blog in one year?
Well we just started monetizing so in another year I want to see us at 100,000 views a month… I also want to be done decorating this house! I want you to be done with your ebook (hey y’all I’m writing an ebook!) and to have more time to work on the blog!
