It’s the end of February and that means it’s time for the Man Behind the Blog!! The hubby has been sooooo great at helping me with the blog this month. He’s had a bit of free time and I’ve been filling it with social media promotion and research for the blog! He’s rocking it!
It’s not his favorite job but he’s been great about helping and I have so much fun when he spends time working with me. I love working on the blog but I absolutely adore working with the hubby. It’s a win-win!
Of course if you haven’t read a Man Behind the Blog post before this is how it works… every month Betsy posts 5 fabulous questions for the next month. We get our guys to answer her questions and then we head over to her blog to link-up! The best part? After hearing my hubby’s answer’s you can head over and see what all the other guys have to say! The link-up over at Heavens to Betsy happens the last Thursday of every month… so grab your guy and meet us there! I can’t wait to see what the other guys are “currently” doing!
February’s Questions!
This year is Leap Year — what are you going to do to celebrate?
It is a leap year! Huh… we have 29 days in February! I don’t know that I’m doing anything to celebrate either… I didn’t know you celebrated leap year. Unless it’s your birthday in which case that would suck. One birthday every four years!
If you could create an obscure holiday, what would it be and why?
I would celebrate mandatory vacation day… where everyone has to take a mandatory holiday and relaxing is the main criteria.
Have you seen the movie Leap Year? If not, tell us about another romantic comedy you have seen.
I haven’t seen the movie Leap Year…. I have seen How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. Several times. Not of my own violation. It’s been a while since we’ve seen it though… it’s a good movie but I don’t prefer chick flicks. Even if they are romantic comedies.
Tradition has it that women are supposed to propose to their men on leap day. Would you (or did you) say yes if your girl popped the question?
Ummmm I don’t want to say I would say no but I would want to be the one who asked. I would have said yes just because I didn’t want to lose the opportunity.
If you had to have a special event take place on leap day, what would it be (ex: wedding, birthday, birth of your child, etc)?
Birthday… probably because it’s the least important one in my book so if I had to miss one I’d want to miss my own birthday.
My 5 Questions!
I recently did a post on how popular Kilim Beige is… if I wanted to use Kilim in our house what would you think?
(Sidenote: look how cute he is lining up the color chips!)
I wouldn’t mind but I don’t think you’d ever do that since you don’t like beige. Wait… do you?
It was a trick question… I don’t like beige (even though the rest of the world does) just wanted to see if he was paying attention!
What is currently your favorite project for the new guest room?
Putting the room together is my favorite part. I have seen all the boxes coming in and so seeing the room actually coming together is my favorite part.
What project are you not so sure about for the new guest room?
The curtains… I don’t know how we’re going to hang the ceilings from the ceiling to the floor. It just seems like a super difficult project.
Um… you just hang the bar higher. Weirdo.
I’m gearing up for my first Blog Conference… what do you hope I’ll learn. What do you think I’ll get out of it?
I’m hoping that we learn how to make more money and that you learn how to grow the blog more every month.
If you could go back in time and say one thing to pre-blog Betsy and Trevor what would you say?
Be patient, give it time. Don’t give up so easily it will definitely get better every month.
