I can’t believe it’s almost Christmas! With Thanksgiving being so hectic around here it was about December 4th before I realized we completely forgot to do our November Man Behind the Blog post! Oh no!

So without further ado… here are all the questions!

What’s on your Christmas list this year?
What I really, really want is a pair of Beats Headphones, a gaming system, a new TV (since our cat just broke ours) and that’s pretty much it.
Did you believe is Santa as a child? Do you have any funny Santa stories?
I definitely believed in Santa as a kid. As far as my favorite Santa story is concerned one year my Mom told me I had been extra naughty and would be getting coal from Santa. In the morning the first things we open is our stockings and the only thing in my stocking was a lone piece of coal and a note that said “You’ve been a naughty boy Love Santa”. It turned out to be a joke and I got presents later… but that’s my favorite Santa story.
What is a Christmas tradition you hope to pass on someday?
There was this special breakfast that my Nana use to make and it was some kind of corn-beef gravy on toast. It was my absolute favorite part of Christmas. I loved it even more than the presents.
Do you open presents on Christmas morning or a different time?
Every year for Christmas we would go to my Nana’s house and every Christmas she would wake up at 6am and come wake my brother and I up to say good morning and cook us breakfast before anyone else woke up. Then when we were done eating it was present time.
What is your favorite Christmas song? Movie?
My favorite Christmas movie is probably Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. I like the claymation classics. They’re my favorites.

What sports did you participate in as a child? What sports did you watch growing up?
As a child I loved to play Basketball and Football mostly… I wasn’t really a Baseball kind of person. I played a lot of football and flag football throughout middle school and high school. I like to think that I became really good at them.
My Grandfather was a big Denver Broncos fan so I grew up watching pro football… and I’ve been a fan ever since.
If you could line up your ideal Super Bowl, who would be facing off, where would they play and who would you pick to win?
That’s an interesting question… I would pick the Broncos and the Seahawks. I would like to play in Denver but since it’s normally on a neutral ground I would have to pick New York. I picked the Seahawks because they kicked our rears the last time we played in the Superbowl and I would really like a re-match.
Do you prefer the summer or winter Olympics? If you could participate in one Olympic sport, what would it be?
Definitely the summer Olympics… its the only Olympics that I’ve really watched. I can’t really tell you why, I guess I feel like there are more events and athletes that I know. I love the all-star Basketball. If I could compete in any Olympic game it would probably be Basketball just because it’s a sport I know. I’d like to say shooting but I don’t know if I’d be any good at that and I really don’t want to embarrass myself.
What is your favorite food to eat at a sports party (ex: World Series, Super Bowl, Stanley Cup, etc.)?
Hum… the best food I’ve ever eaten at a sports party was probably a five-layer dip! It was EPIC. After that I’d stick with the classics: hot dogs and hamburgers.
Who is your all time favorite athlete and why?
My all time favorite would have to be Champ Bailey. I have to pick him because right before he retired they kept telling him he couldn’t keep up and would do better to retire. That he couldn’t keep up with the young wide receivers in the league but what was amazing (for him) was that time after time, game after game he kept up and proved them wrong.
