After a veery long December, I was worried that I would never get started in January. It’s like a ball rolling downhill though… once I got started it was too hard to stop!
All of that forward momentum means I have a few very exciting projects in the works for y’all. If you subscribe to my newsletter you saw one of them today!
Of course, my favorite January project was my undated Life Planner… it matches my free wedding binder! If there’s anything I love more than a new planner its one that matches! Eeek!
So without further ado let’s get started:

How to Make a Dashboard for Your Planner!
Last week I had a little bit of fun creating a brand new dashboard for my planner! The best part was that I actually got to go outside and see real people. That doesn’t happen very often in the blog world.
I actually went to a little planner class at Michaels and I had such a good time that I decided to share our little project with y’all.
The best part is that this little dashboard didn’t cost me a dime, I was able to use supplies I already own! Of course, if you don’t own an entire craft store in your spare room (or a pack of cardstock) then it would be under $10 to make this little guy.
The Undated Life Planner to Match Your FREE Wedding Planner!
I seriously haven’t been this excited about something in a long time… and I cannot WAIT to share it with you! I have been a planner girl for a long time… since middle school probably. I had the same pink leather planner through last few years of high school and all four years of college.
So I’ve whipped out the old design software to put together planner pages to match my FREE 42 Page Wedding Binder! Since the Wedding Binder comes in Blush, Hot Pink and Royal Blue I made planner pages to go with each color… I kind of love them!
How to Finally Find Time for Your DIY Projects
I’m always striving to find ways to squeeze a little more time out of my day for the things I enjoy.
I love working on decorating and DIY projects around the house, but it can be a challenge to find the time. Between my job, family, my blog and all the usual chores and errands, it often feels like I don’t have enough free time to even think about painting the kitchen or flipping my latest thrift store find. Do you feel the same way? Bursting with project ideas but little time to actually put them into action?
8 Cozy Updates for your After the Holiday’s Home
As we get further away from the holiday season and we start to put away all of the glitz and glamour that makes up our holiday decor many families find themselves missing the warmth and sparkle of the holiday’s.
I don’t know about y’all but I absolutely love having my Christmas decorations up… they’re pretty but it goes deeper than that. There’s nothing simpler than flipping a simple Christmas Tree switch to make a room cozy and hope-filled.
As we move into the off-season (aka all the months of the year I’m not allowed to have my Christmas Tree up… silly husband made me take it down) I think it’s soooo important to keep your home full of warmth and magic.
5 Tips for Decorating a Combined Living and Dining Room
Today we’re tackling the age old delima… what do I do when I have one room that needs to serve two purposes? How do I go about decorating a combined room?! Technically this could be a living room and dining room, living room and home office, dining room and kitchen… but for this little scenario let’s focus on the whole living room/dining room situation. Why?
Because a sweet reader wrote in asking about this exact predicament:
How to Resize Printables for Any Planner
So last week I introduced you to my new Happy Planner… and the Life Planner printables I created to match my Free Wedding Binder! I’m using the classic sized Happy Planner but as you know planners are like people… they come in all shapes and sizes! Which means we need to learn how to resize printables to fit any planner.
My planner might be a completely different size from your planner… some people like little planners they can throw in their purse while others have the BIG planner they can leave open on their desk. I am loving the classic size… I guess I’m like Goldilocks it’s juuust right!
