Episode 8: Hurricane Irma, Sticker Shop and How the Kitchen is Holding Up

I have been soooo busy the last two weeks that I completely skipped two updates. We’re still early in the weekly update process and honestly I’m still deciding exactly what these updates are going to look like. For the first five updates I’ve focused on having a specific backdrop (the office), wearing make-up (it’s a video!) and trying to make the best video possible. That’s still important to me but as the weeks go on and LIFE happens there are weeks where that type of video just doesn’t make sense.

I want to get better about pulling out the camera and chatting with y’all during the crazy, not after! So even though I’m sitting at my desk, not wearing make-up I pulled out the camera anyways for a little chat this week.

We covered a lot of ground this week! Hear all the gory details in the video, meanwhile here’s what we talked about this week:

We are far enough south that we did get hit by Hurricane Irma but far enough west that it was just the edges! Lots of rain and wind and storminess but no real damage over here! The whole town shut down and we covered everything at work in plastic but other than that it was really just like a big thunderstorm. We were very lucky as many people were hit hard by both Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma.
I’ve talked with y’all a bit about my little blog going full time later this year I haven’t talked about some of the exciting developments coming down the pipeline! I am having a great time working on my printable planners and want to take that a step further with planner stickers! If you watch any of my plan with me videos you know I’m obsessed with planner stickers so this is a natural extension of the things I’m already doing!!! Plus I am excited to make stickers. Eeek! We’re still moving and then have lots to do with the new house so it’s going to be a while before the sticker shop opens but I’m chomping at the bit to get started. I may start designing sticker sets so I have several in the shop when it opens… but I still have 8 planners to launch sooo maybe one thing at a time.
Speaking of planners… after several weeks (ok months!) of working on the newest planner we finally are ready to launch my moving planner! Stay tuned for all the details… I can’t wait for y’all to see it! Eeeek! I went a little over board on this one… there are 20 printable pages, 1 printable postcard and 31 coordinating printable sticker sheets!! I’m using it for our personal move so I know how bomb it is.
We chatted a bit about how the kitchen is holding up after our entire kitchen makeover. So far so good but there are a couple spots that need some work. I can’t wait to get alllllll the pictures up so y’all can see how it’s doing!
