Bags and Paper... packaging design with Happily Ever After, Etc.

Bags and Paper

Hey y'all

In case I haven’t mentioned I have a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design (which is partly where my love for design comes from)! When I first graduated from College I worked on packaging design at a firm called Blue Ink Studios which designs gift bags, tissue paper, paper plates, notepads etc. All kinds of fun goodies! It really was a fun job… especially for a gal just out of college. I was use to designing mock-up projects for school but now I was designing for actual production. Every designers dream!

All of this means that every once in a while while I’m out shopping I run into one of my designs… on an actual shelf! Isn’t that fun?

These particular bags were found while shopping in Dothan, AL. It’s a little thing but it’s sooo much fun to find something you designed out on a shelf available for total strangers to buy! I love to give gifts in one of “my” bags, it adds a special touch! With Christmas coming up I better stock up! While I didn’t see any this time, I have plenty of Christmas designs to choose from. Which would you like this season?
