If you haven’t heard my new house has 3 bedrooms, an office and a living room. You know what that means. After the master bedroom and guest room are claimed there is an extra bedroom! I get a craft room! The hubby put in a bold vote to try and make the extra room a closet… but let’s face it… not gonna happen.
So now all I have to do is decide on a work space for my new craft room! I want a desk or table with a big enough surface to spread out on without taking up the entire room. Oh and it has to be cheap. We are on a budget here and unfortunately my craft room is pretty much at the bottom of the budget totem pole. #sadface
I am pretty sure I know exactly what I want… but just in case let’s look around… you never know what we’ll find!

I love all the storage these options offer… and the nice big worktops! Perfect for spreading out on! But you know what I love? The simplicity of a saw horse desk.
I’m not sure why but I love those legs! Maybe I can talk the hubby into making one for me!

Oh I went through that for years… I felt like I never got any crafting done! I’m hoping to get several scrapbooks done this year!
My husband made me a craft table. He bought two shelving/book shelves from target. They have 9 squares, so 3×3. He then got an old formica top (I love formica) and put it on top. It is really nice and it is tall enough that I get to stand or use a stool.

That was so sweet of him! I bet you love it! I love those desks… So much storage! I just can’t get the sawhorse desk out of my mind though… I’ve wanted one for years! My hubby said he’d build me one so I’m super excited!
