This past weekend I spent a few days in Colorado on a spontaneous trip… for my Dad’s birthday! It was nice to spend time with family and even better to surprise him, he had absolutely no idea I was coming.

Unfortunately the weekend came to a close all to quickly… and even though I am glad to be back with the hubby and fur-babies I do miss my Colorado family. I don’t miss the cold weather and snow that comes with living in a colder climate though… sorry honey!

If it was up to the hubster we’d live in an igloo with snow blankets and ice pillows, he loves the cold while I love warmer temperatures. Which is ironic since I was born in Alaska and he was born in California….

Either way, I absolutely loved spending a few days with jack frost nipping at my nose… even if it was a gentle nip since Colorado was very warm for October. I didn’t even need a jacket! With all this talk of colder weather and fall I decided it was time to get our little home ready for fall… and what better way to prepare than with free printables?
