Spring Home Tour with Happily Ever After Etc

Spring Home Tour… Come on in Y’all!

Hey y'all

Now that my Christmas decorations are packed away *ahem* it’s starting to look a lot like spring around here! I’ve been working on spring cleaning and adding a few new additions to spruce up the place… I love how every spring I seem to fall in love with our home all over again! I just love fixing the place up for the sun! So come on in and sit a spell… I’d love to show you around!

Whew that was a lot of pictures! Is your scrolling finger tired yet? I know mine is! *wink wink* As a reward for staying with me through the entire spring home tour I will show you my latest prized possession! That’s right I finally found the perfect hallway runner! When I first spotted it at TJMaxx I think I about hyperventilated. My hubby didn’t ask any questions… just picked it up and put it in the cart. It helps that it’s the perfect shade of blue and the perfect pattern to help tie the living room and bedroom rugs together. Plus I’ve been looking for over a year… I think he’s just excited to be done with the search!

Thanks so much for dropping by! You’re welcome any time… especially in about a week when this place needs to be cleaned again!

P.S. If you think all my rooms look like the pretty pictures above don’t be fooled… there’s a reason our guest room needs a makeover!

I’m with you Crystal, I love seeing other people’s homes! Thanks for the sweet words…. I actually found the “God is good…” Sign at Hobby Lobby about a year ago! My hubby fell in love with it and it goes so perfectly with our decor… I don’t know if they still have it or not. Maybe it will rotate back in, does Hobby Lobby do that? Haha!

It kills me every year! Last year with our wedding in May we were so busy and stressed the Christmas decorations didn’t come down until June! Yikes! So this year I will count April as a step in the right direction! Haha! We live it when our house is tidied up and clean but most of the time it is definitely not a showroom! It does take pretty pictures though!

Haha, thanks Zen! We just refer to the guest room as my hubby’s closet… With all the crap in the way I’m not sure how he even makes it to the closet! Honestly I’ve stopped going in there… Every time I try he’s made a bigger mess!

Don’t worry Teresa… I can still see it! Thank you so much for your sweet words, I am so glad you like my little slice of the world here! The blue color on my hutch is none other than Annie Sloan’s Greek Blue… just like all of those amazing blue dome roofs in Greece! It’s a stunner… that’s for sure! Thanks for stopping by!
