Get ready for picture overload! It’s holiday season y’all which means sitting down to rack our brains for the perfect gift idea for every. single. person. on our list! I’ve been working on this for a month or two so that I have enough time to actually send these gifts off to all the different people they’re intended for.
I don’t know about y’all but I’m super good at buying gifts and never sending them. Or sending them late… day after Christmas present anyone?
This year I’m going to be on top of everything and I’m putting together my yearly gift guide early as proof (so if you’re on my list of people to shop for don’t read this post… you’ll probably see your gift!). I have literally taken over 50 pictures for this post so if you don’t like scrolling this isn’t the post for you… but I’ve included big bold headers for every item so if you don’t want to browse just hop from header to header.
Let’s get started y’all… here’s my big bad list of gifts for everyone on your list!
Happy shopping y’all! Let me know in the comments what your favorite gift on the list is… and what you may snag for your favorite people!
A Gift for the Sports Enthusiast!
A set of cufflinks for the working guy who has a favorite sports team… grab this set from Cufflinks.com.
If you know anything about me you know I’m a huge Steelers fan… and the reason for that is my Daddy. He’s the biggest Steelers fan I know! He grew up in Pittsburgh with his own Steelers loving Daddy! I can’t wait until the day I have my own little bundle of joy to pass on the Steelers tradition. Of course living in Colorado means he’s right in the middle of Broncos territory… which makes game day fun at Dad’s work. He says there’s always lots of back and forth between all the Broncos fans and… Dad. He’s the odd one out! So I’ve snagged him a set of Steelers cufflinks to wear with his fancy smancy suits on game day. Just another small piece of Steelers pride!
Of course, the way I feel about the Steelers is how my hubby feels about the Broncos! His Dapaw is a Broncos fan through and through so he gets it honestly enough… even if he does root for the wrong team. So I went ahead and picked up these adorable Broncos cufflinks for the hubby. Shhh he doesn’t know about these babies yet! I can’t wait to see how much he loves them, he was jealous when he saw Dad’s Steelers cufflinks.
A gift for anyone with big life changes!
Newlywed? New baby? Little one going off to second grade? Save the memories with Mixbook.
I absolutely adore our wedding album… but I’m kind of a picture fanatic! We’ve been married for almost four years and have already taken family photos twice… not counting wedding photos! I just love to preserve memories. Of course, when I went to visit my bestie a couple months ago she mentioned how her Dad had ordered a photo book of their wedding photos… and she loved it! She really wanted one but it just wasn’t in the budget (she has a two month old little girl after all!) so I decided to surprise her with one for Christmas!
These books can be a bit pricey if you just place an order but if you watch for a minute they have excellent sales… which is how I got this one with the premium layflat pages. I bought a book for my Mom last year with the layflat pages and now I’m obsessed… they really make allll the difference in the world. It’s ridiculous how high end that simple addition makes this book feel. Plus it lets you maximize your space by adding photos over the center seam and making two page spreads.
I spent a lot of time last year customizing my book with specific colors and backgrounds to match our wedding theme (graphic designer remember? everything had to match!) but when it came time to do Ashley’s book I absolutely loved this floral wedding theme… this baby was just a drag and drop! I picked the theme added the pictures and was done! SO. MUCH. EASIER.
I think I’m going to order another one once the baby pictures are taken… how cute would a baby book be???
A Gift for the Hard Working Lady!
A set of gorgeous bath sheets from West Point Home.
I have thought long and hard about bath sheets for years! They seem like an unnecessary purchase but for those of us over 12 pounds it’s nice to have a towel that covers the front and the back… if you know what I mean. These particular bath sheets are super soft and I kind of want to curl up in them and take a nap. A set of these babies are the perfect gift for the hard working lady in your life… you know the one. She never stops. She’s always doing something or running somewhere. She takes care of everyone else but never seems to pick something up for herself. Maybe she even loved bubble baths in a previous life but barely has time to take a shower these days. A set of bath sheets is the perfect solution… a sweet luxury she’d never buy for herself that she can enjoy no matter how quick her showers may be.
A Custom Lampshade for the Sentimental Friend.
A photo lampshade for the memory keeper in your life… from Lamps Plus.
I absolutely love this lamp! It is a practical gift (hello… light!) but it’s also completely personalized. We grabbed this lamp for my hubby’s Nana and Dapaw… they live in Oregon and absolutely love their local beach. They’re also decorating their new home with a beach vibe so a custom beach lamp should fit right in. I love this idea for a completely custom gift… think vacation pictures, family photos, adorable pets (how cute would a puppy lamp be?!) I love how custom these are! I really want to make one with baby pictures for my bestie’s new baby nursery.
It would be so sweet!
A Gift for the Gal on the Go!
A notebook to keep anyone organized… especially when tucked into a Travelers Notebook! These can be made with custom inserts from May Designs.
These notebooks are perfect for so many people… because you can completely customize them! From the cover artwork to the font… I made one that says blog posts for pete sakes! They have a million different inserts too: blank pages, grid, lists, gratitude journal, lettering pages… the possibilities are endless. Which means they have the perfect combination for your type a super organized needs a weekly planner friend or your super artsy wants to watercolor while she rides the subway friend.
Plus they’re absolutely gorgeous.
A Gift for the new Mama!
A Nursing Cover & Swaddle… this set can be found at Milk Snob!
My bestie had a sweet baby girl this year which means I’m learning about all. the. baby. things. What’s even better is that I’m the fun auntie who gets to spoil not only baby but mama. The last time I went to visit Ashley she was telling me how she had a heavy winter cover for bug’s car seat but nothing light weight for summer time. I started to do a bit of research and found these lightweight, multi-use covers! I kind of love them! She can use the cover for so. many. things. and the best part is she’d never buy it for herself… she’s just not the type. She’ll keep using a blanket or scarf (which works but isn’t the easiet solution when trying to juggle car seat, baby bag and baby… not to mention her purse).
The best part is that when I went to grab this cute cover I noticed that Milk Snob recently released a line of fun new swaddles… or pouches as they call them! When I think of a swaddle I envision the whole baby buritto (that is what most babies like!) sweet pea loves to be swaddled but she hates having her arms inside the swaddle so this little guy is perfect! I can’t wait to see how she likes it!
A Gift for the Young at Heart!
This line of anti-aging skincare can be found at Beautified You.
I am not yet thirty (28 thank you very much!) but ever since I was a little girl I have looked younger than I actually am… I can remember being looked at like a crazy person when Mom told me to go bring the car around at Home Depot. I must have been a sophmore in college but the cashier was convinced I didn’t have my drivers liscense yet. Well… I get my young looks directly from my Mama who is thirty years older than I am. She still gets mistaken for someone closer to my age (while peole think I’m still in school *grrrr*) but shes’s started to express an interest in a nightly anti-aging cream so I went looking for the perfect solution.
I found the Anora Skincare line which includes a Fortifying Active Moisturizer, Reparative Night Moisturizer, Advanced Renewing Eye Cream, Anti-Aging Serum, and Purifying Gel Cleanser. This stuff should hit the spot… it looks amazing. I think part of my graphic design background came peeking out this week because I was practically drooling over these bottles… they are gorgeous! Now I just have to wait until Christmas so Mama can try these babies out!
A Gift for the Digital Bookworm!
You can find a case for almost any device on Caseable.
My father-in-law is hard to shop for… he’s a very private man and he keeps his interests close to the vest. He absolutely loves to read though and his device of choice is definitely his Kindle. Last year he asked for a Kindle gift card but this year I wanted to stray away from the gift card path so I picked a gorgeous new Kindle cover! The hardest part was picking a deisgn… honestly there were just so many to pick from! I love how sturdy this case is without being a big bulky monstrosity… hoepfully he likes it!
A Gift for the Planner Gal.
Planner Stickers are the perfect gift for anyone who loves to stay organized.
I love this set of marble stickers from Purple Trail… they’re fairly basic so you can use them for so many different projects! I decided to fold a set to use in small travelers notebook. They’re perfect for adding small notes to the bottom of my planning pages. If you know someone who’s just starting out with their planner these are the perfect jumping off point, you can use them for layering or to write things on.
Plus they’re super cute.
A Gift for Nana.
A classic for all anyone sentimental, find this one at Precious Moments
I feel like this one is a standard for anyone who loves figurines… I have to admit that I have a few of them myself. Especially since there’s basically a figurine for every situation. The hubby has been missing his Nana lately and he picked out this sweet little figurine to send to her… it’s a little boy and his Nana reading Christmas stories.
Isn’t it just the sweetest?
A Gift for the Weight Loss Sweetheart.
Thred Up is the perfect place solution for a quick wardrobe on a budget.
My Mama recently went down several sizes recently which means she’s shopping in a whole new size bracket. I wanted to get her several different pieces to mix and match so I went to Thred Up. I scored several pieces last year for great prices and they were all in like new or new condition so I went back… for 75 bucks I grabbed two pairs of khaki’s, one pair of capri’s, a pair of black pants, a striped long sleeve shirt, a lace top and a cute jacket.
There’s no way that’s anything other than a fabulous deal. Four of the items still have brand new tags on them! I know where I’m shopping for all my Christmas parties and New Years eve parties… I mean they have adorable pj’s! We’re talking Liz Claiborne, Old Navy, and Gloria Vanderbilt y’all. I can’t wait for her to see these bad boys.
A Gift for the Teacher in your Life.
This teacher planner is perfectly customizable from Purple Trail
Okay y’all, I am kind of a planner addict. I am in love with my entire planning system and while I’ve turned my hubby to the dark side I haven’t quite succeded with the rest of my family. My younger brother is graduating from college this year though and he will finally be a teacher. Which means he needs a place to plan out lessons and keep grades… the whole shebang.
Of course, the hardest part was finding a teacher planner that wasn’t completely covered with flowers or rose gold mendallas. Which I love but aren’t quite the thing for a guy. So I went searching for a neutral planner… my brother is really into neutrals and black and white. Maybe a little Harry Potter but that’s not the thing for work.
I absolutely love this planner… get ready for allllllll the pictures because this baby has it all: stickers, student checklists, appointment sheets, to-do lists, monthly calendars, weekly lesson plans etc. Plus you can pick which cover you want and get it personallized.
