I don’t know about y’all but I am just a little bit hard on my phones… ok so it’s more than a teeny bit! On the upside I haven’t flushed a phone in a while… not bringing my phone in the bathroom is really helping!
The latest escapade happened on my way into Perfectly Imperfect in Troy… I was getting out of the car and my phone just fell to the pavement. You could literally hear all the tiny screen cracks!
Look at that! The screen was splintered into a million pieces! Since the crack was in the top corner I tried to use it… and I lasted for about a month! But after being annoyed by the little cracks day in and day out the final straw was my sore thumb from slowly being sliced apart by that little crack!
So when I got my new phone a screen protector was a very important! I really don’t need another cracked phone! I’ve always used a plastic screen protector but this time I went with glass! IntelliGLASS to be exact!
Before you put on the protector you definitely have to clean the screen… you wouldn’t want all that dust and fuzz trapped in between screens! The little kit has all the supplies and instructions… so it’s super easy!
The first step is to use an alcohol wipe to clean the surface!
The second step is to use the dust rag to dry off the screen. The only thing worse than dust is moisture. 😉
Normally the next step would be putting on the screen protector but this little guy has one more trick up it’s sleeve. It’s essentially a plastic screen protector that you smooth over the glass… all the little annoying bubbles that you always get? The ones that just won’t go away? Yup this guy traps them and then takes them off! How cool is that!?
Look at all those little bubbles?! Every single one is a piece of lint that would be trapped under the very clear glass of my screen protector!
And when I say clear… I mean clear! I was worried glass would mean thick but this baby is super sleek. Just look at that profile!
The last step is to put the glass screen protector on the phone… I would be uber careful to place it in the right spot but if you mess up you should be able to peel it up real quick and place it again. At least I did! 😉
They even included a little home button! That obviously wouldn’t work on my hubby’s iphone 6 with it’s fingerprint recognition magic but my iphone 5c just has a button!
Just look at the difference! Old and cracked vs shiny and new! Plus it’s so clear that you can hardly tell it’s there! I love it!
I’ve had this guy on my phone for about a week now and I can’t even tell it’s there. The only difference is that my phone is uber responsive now! Of course I’m not sure if that’s the new glass cover or cleaning my phones screen off! Who knows? Either way I absolutely love this screen protector!
Of course my main tip is to get a handy hubby to put the screen protector on for you! My hubby is so good at these things! Plus he looks so cute doing it! Especially wearing my sunglasses… he said my photography lighting equipment was too bright!
