When my hubby first told me he wanted a canopy over our bed I thought “wait a minute… you’re not a tiny little girl?! Why would a grown man want a canopy?” He explained to me that they were “distinguished and classy” plus they “look cool!”.
He’s very articulate! 😉
As I started to look at pictures I realized… canopy’s were kind of cool! I love the soft romantic feel they lend to a room… and the feeling of privacy they create! I had a four poster canopy bed growing up so I have a first hand testimony that sometimes having your own little cave is the world’s best therapy!
