Hey y'all

I once printed over 100 graduation cards in full color… on white paper with a black background. I regularly print organizational printables for my housekeeping binder… or pictures for my latest craft project. Yet I’m so forgetful that I haven’t bought new ink cartridges for my printer since I graduated college back in 2011! That means every time I want to print a new printable (like the adorable to-do list I found over on Think Creative KC earlier this week!) I have to find a printer… like a little mini printer scavenger hunt!

Since I no longer live ten minutes away from my Mom or Grandparents the scavenger hunt looks like this: can I print this in black and white? Yup? Head to work! Does this need to be in color? (um hello! It’s adorable multi-colored!) Yes… head to…. wait I don’t know anywhere in town that has a color printer that is free! How do I print this dang thing!?

Since my hubby wasn’t even aware that our printer was still functional (He literally pulled it out of the box while we were unpacking the office and said “why do we still keep this ting if it doesn’t even work?” It works just fine, thank you very much!) I’ve decided it’s high time to get my rear in gear and re-stock this office!

HP Office Jet | HP Printer Ink | Ultimate Guide to Printing Printables

Alright y’all this is first and foremost a post about printer Ink Cartridges… and how it is my official goal in life to acquire some. I refuse to go another four years without the ability to print whatever I wish from the comfort of my own home!
So I’m biting the bullet and ordering ink online for my HP printer! Haha… didn’t see that one coming did you? I recently heard about Ink Plus Toner a discount superstore that has free shipping and will send the ink right to your door. With this new strategy I will never be inkless again!

Of course my printer is several years old… but my hubby spent several years in Colorado working in the Print Shop at Staples. Which means I feel quite confident in saying that the HP Officejet 4630 Wireless All-in-One Inkjet Printer is the bomb… for a reasonable price. Since a great printer is step number one to printing awesome graphics at home I figured I had to include one in this little office supply list! This is the one the hubster would buy if he had any need (what-so-ever) for a new printer… come to think of it I better go hide the hammer so we don’t “need” a new printer too soon!

Okay Okay this isn’t really a supply per say… but it is a truly fabulous resource! Michelle over at Elegance and Enchantment has put together the Ultimate Guide to Printing Printables and I thought all of you printy people might like it! You’re  welcome! (yes, darling, printy is a word!)

Push Pins | Mint Green Pencils | Paper Clip Nest | Quirky Magnetic Stapler | Paris Scissors | Mint Ruler

Now that we have the meat and potatoes out of the way let’s get to the pretty stuff! like these adorable Turquoise Glitter Push Pins or maybe the Eiffel Tower Scissors? Anytime you can combine form and function I am all in… I mean these scissors are seriously adorable… and I bet they work just fine #thankyouverymuch! Of course the only thing cuter are the Mint Pencils or the clear Mint Ruler. Definite must have!

Of course my favorite two doo-dads are at the bottom… the egg on the left? It’s a Magnetic Egg… yup you read that right. Magnetic. That means that your paper clips will automatically stick to it… forming an adorable egg! Isn’t that wacky? Of course the middle contraption might just beat the egg… it’s a Magnetic Align Stapler. The bottom is completely removable and attaches to the top with a magnet…which means you no longer need one of those crazy long staplers to staple something in the middle of your paper (why do I always need to staple in the middle? It’s not just me right?)!

Desk Tray | Mason Jar | Magazine Folder

This one really needs no introduction… if you have any type of office you understand the importance of organization. These mint colored Magazine Folders are absolutely adorable… and they’re part of a set which means you can easily snap up the matching letter tray, desk organizer or paper box!  Of course there’s a matching pencil holder as well… but I think you’re seriously missing out if you don’t go with this adorable Mint Mason Jar! It’s the perfect color and is absolutely adorable! This version is a bit pricey… but Michaels has a much cheaper alternative! Of you could always DIY your own!

External Hard drive | Mouse Pad

I wouldn’t even dream about recommending a computer… there are way to many variables that go into such a large decision. I work on an iMac… which I absolutely love… but I had to save my pennies up for four years to get the model I wanted. I know that cup of tea is not for everyone. What I can recommend is that whichever computer you use you back it up with a great External Hard Drive. This one is a full terabyte of storage for about 60 bucks… now that’s a good deal! On a much less serious note this Mouse Pad is seriously adorable! “Leave a Little Sparkle Wherever You Go!” Love it!

Love Bookends | Cloud Alarm Clock |File Folders |Filing Cabinet

Now for the extra’s! The little cute details that take an office from functional to adorable… yup this is my favorite part! I’m a total bookworm and an office is a great place to keep books! So many office designs include at least one bookcase… and these LOVE Bookends are the perfect addition to any pass of paper backs! Wouldn’t they look cute flanking a stack of books in a cozy little mint office? Yup, I thought so too!

If you have paperwork to file away look no further than a sturdy File Cabinet and a whole bunch of File Folders, This one is super adorable with a unique color and old fashioned casters… of course you could easily paint your existing file cabinet any color you like… and then add casters!

Never miss another meeting with this little bitty powerful Cloud Clock… it keeps the time and sounds alarm when it’s time to go, plus it’s adorable. What else could you want?

So what was your favorite part of today’s minty office supply list? The adorable clock? The Eiffel Tower scissors? I think my favorite part was the decision to order my ink online… it will be so nice to have a functional printer again!

So tell me what do you procrastinate on?

I think I’m definitely the biggest fan of “extras” even though I try to have as few knickknacks as possible since my desk is small :p
