In exactly three days I will be in the car on my way to Haven… seriously y’all I am so excited! For 3 days I will get to learn new DIY’s, hang out with other home decor enthusiasts and learn awesome new blogging technique’s.
No biggie!
Of course just because August is so darn awesome (and it’s only day 2!) doesn’t mean July wasn’t amazing. My hubby’s birthday was July 10th so we had a fantastic birthday celebration (aka we went to see the new Ghostbusters movie… that’s what he wanted!). Likewise we’ve really been working on cleaning the house!
Hopefully August will bring a few more fun projects!

15 Fabulous Ideas to Organize your Laundry Room
I’ll let you in on a little secret… I hate doing laundry. I know what you’re thinking “that isn’t a secret… everyone hates doing laundry!”
Here’s the thing though… I don’t hate laundry, I hate my laundry room! In our apartment we had a cute little laundry room with shelves and a door. Then we had a cute little house where the laundry room was located in the garage, yuck.
5 DIY Home Accessories to Make Yourself!
Y’all this week might be my absolute favorite Fantastic Finds Saturday ever… not even joking! I love the projects that y’all share with us at Welcome Home Wednesdays but this week I have 5 very special DIY home accessories to show with you… these cuties would look great in any home!

13 Gray Paint Colors to Make you Swoon!
These days it seems like every single customer has one question: “which gray color is everyone painting with?” Of course there isn’t one specific answer… depending on shade and undertone there are a few gray’s that really seem to be making the rounds!
Gray’s typically have a few undertones… the most common are blue, green, brown or black. Of course black undertones leave a true gray that doesn’t lean one way or the other. If you’re looking for gray that truly looks… gray try Light French Gray or Classic French Gray!
25 Front Door Colors for 2016
Every day I help dozens of customers pick paint colors for their living rooms, their kitchens, their shutters and siding… but my favorite paint to pick? You guessed it… my favorite (by far) are front door colors!
Front doors are little compared to an entire house… so it’s easier to experiment with color in a smaller space. If you hate the color a new quart of paint will fix the problem! With little commitment you can be adventurous with choosing your front door color!

Blue & Gray Back Patio Mood Board!
We’ve been strictly working on cleaning the house lately (boo) so instead of trying to decorate a dirty space I’ve decided to move the decorating outside… which means I’m dreaming of the back patio!
The hubby wants a super cute space outside to entertain or hang out in the evening (which sounds good to me!). We have a small patio space but a large yard so I’m dreaming of a little tiny patio set!
So I decided to whip up a little back patio mood board!

If you’ve ever stood frozen in place in front of a wall of brush naps you’re in the right place! There’s so many and they all look the same… how are you suppose to know which brand works best for which paint?

How to Earn Extra Cash with ibotta!
Alright y’all this post is a little outside the norm for me… instead of sharing my own home decor finds or how to’s I wanted to share a fun little app to help earn money (towards buying fun little home decor items!).
