Don't Be Afraid To Blush Happily Ever After, Etc.

Don’t be Afraid to Blush!

Hey y'all

Recently I’ve noticed a trend that I ABSOLUTELY love… blush! When I’m surfing Pinterest I see gorgeous rooms with blush curtains, blush blankets, couches… the list is endless! I’ve always veered away from using too much pink in our home… because I want my hubby to be just as comfortable here as I am. I did sneak just a bit into our bathroom… but I have somehow refrained from making everything else pink! (It’s been hard I deserve a medal!)

Blush however is such a lovely subtle shade… it’s not as in your face as the hot pink I’m usually rockin’! Maybe I can find somewhere to incorporate blush in my home… and after you see all the lovely images I’ve pulled from around the web you’ll want to add blush to your home too!

The bathroom in my house now is pink. I love it… the hubs… well, he puts up with a lot. 😉

We don’t have much pink in the plan for the new house, but I love the light pink flowers!

I’m loving shades of blushes and nudes right now, too! It’s so soft and subtle and feminine. I used to think, nope, no way! Now I love it! Especially in that headboard and the She is clothed in Strength sign!!

Tell me about it! I’m suddenly wondering why my entire house and blog aren’t blush! When your hubby gets here I’ll introduce him to mine and they can make a “husbands against blush” club… It’ll be great! Haha! Thanks for stopping by!

Gorgeous! We have some blush tones in our bathroom. When the kids get older, we may be able to bring it into the rest of the house, but for now, they’d just cover it with mud. 🙂

Blush is my favorite color but it never was always my fave . I used to think it washed me out because I am so tanned but it works and it’s an elegant color. I equally love at home. The pics you posted are such great inspiration.

I loved my wedding colors (periwinkle, silver and a hint of hot pink) but when I see all of these gorgeous blush weddings I frantically try to figure out how to have a second wedding so that it can be blush inspired! So far it’s not going well.. I will have to live vicariously through you and your wedding!
