This month’s project was a little bittersweet seeing as it’s for Valentines Day. I wasn’t sure exactly which direction to take since my Valentine can’t exactly receive presents this year. I thought about making a present for my best friend or my Mama but in the end I saw this quote on a shopping trip and fell in love.
You may be gone Trevor but you will forever be my always.
So I decided to make a sweet little Valentines Day Wall Project that I could hang up and enjoy. A little reminder that he may be gone but he is always with me.
Of course, once you’ve learned the steps to cut out vinyl this project is easy!
Step 1: Whitewash your heart!
If you have a light colored vinyl you may not need this step but the rose gold vinyl was just a tidge too close to the existing gray. So I used a white craft paint to do a little whitewashing! I just added a little dry brushing so that the vinyl would be easier to read but go ahead and add as much whitewash as you like.
Step 2: Add your Vinyl!
Now it’s time to cut out your vinyl, if you haven’t done this before I wrote an entire step-by-step post on exactly how to use your cricut to cut glitter vinyl. Luckily it’s super easy!
You can even grab the Cricut cut files for this project here… then all you have to do is press “make it”.
Step 3: Enjoy!
That’s it, you’re finished! This little heart is such a quick project but I absolutely love how it turned out, it’s already hanging in my bedroom.
I hope you have a wonderful Valentines day with your sweetie. If you’d like to read my love story with my sweetie you can read it here.
