They say the best projects are born out of necessity… if that’s true then this project was needed MONTHS ago! Last week I arrived at work to realize that I had left all hair ties and bobby pins at home! Yikes! It was an early morning so… I guess my head wasn’t screwed on just right! Either way I decided it wasn’t going to happen again! So this weekend I sat down to make the cutest little DIY project ever. This might be the easiest DIY ever… really it isn’t even fair to call it a DIY! But I’m a rule breaker so… just go with it ok? Thanks!

List of Supplies:
Paint or other embellishments… and the corresponding paintbrushes!
Lots of Bobby Pins!!!!!
A tic-tac container! I tried to find an extra large one… but both stores I went to only had the regular (small) containers… so that’s what we’re working with.
First off… empty your container of tic tacs! Luckily I have a little bubble gum machine filled with tic-tacs on my desk… so I just filled the machine! If you don’t have an easy place to put your tic-tacs you may have to wait until your container is empty… or get a candy dish, your choice!
Second step? You guessed it… paint your container! I went with simple polka dots… mainly because they’re easy to do! This container is going to get thrown in my purse so I don’t want tons of 3-D embellishments that would get easily torn off!
Of course the third step is to fill the container with your bobby pins! Easy peasy!
And that’s it! Your super easy DIY Bobby Pin Holder! See… so easy it’s not even a real DIY!! And the best part? You can make one in about 10 minutes! Just long enough for the paint to dry!!
