Our yorkie Little Bitt is just about the cutest thing you ever did see… of course we’re completely biased. 😉 Luckily she’s pretty low-maintenance… for a girl who grew up with begals having a dog that doesn’t beg for food or treats is a novel concept!
Our two begals (Scout and Belle) needed a treat every time we left the house… and if they weren’t fed at 5pm on the dot you would hear about it! I loved those little fur babies but it is nice to have a pup that doesn’t verbally request treats!
Of course that means we need a great treat jar to remind us to give this little gal a treat every now and then!

The best part is that a cute treat jar doesn’t have to be expensive or difficult to find! We picked up a simple plastic jar (the plastic is important if you have kitty’s that like to knock things off counters!) and I whipped up a few FREE printable treat tags to spice things up!
Aren’t they cute?

I simply printed them out, cut out my favorite tag and tied it on with a cute pink ribbon! Now Bitty’s really ready for a few treats!
Just look at that sweet face!
Of course the most important time we use treats is for training… the hubby and I will take Bitty out for a walk and practice all of her commands. Sit, stay, walk, heel… the whole she-bang!
That means a few fun treats to make the training really stick! *wink wink*
Just look at that sweet little girl scrounging for treats!
