Okay y’all my life’s goal to completely re-imagine my life entirely in rose gold is well under way. Unfortunately replacing everything you own with a brighter, pinker, shinier version is a timely process. So I’m working just a little bit at a time… starting with the dog bowls in our kitchen (since the hubby broke the ones we had). So I started to think… if dog bowls could make such a big impact what other small rose gold touches could have such a big impact?
So here’s the list… little things that won’t break the bank but will slowly make a difference in your home.
My first instinct is to reach for the fluffy fuzzy furry rose gold pillows that I see all over Pinterest but with a small yorkie, two cats, a husband and maybe even kids one day fuzzy, fluffy pillows didn’t seem very practical. So I went with a rose gold pillow cover instead!
Aren’t these springy?!

If you caught my April Re-Cap you know we’re about to tackle the hubby’s office (did you see that mood board?! I’m so excited about that cow painting!). Unfortunately I don’t think the hubs will let me deck out his desk with rose gold desk accessories… but I bet they’d look fabulous with my blush desk in the craft room!
These would be amazing paired with gray tufted head chairs in a dining room! Or paired with a small table! I wonder how they’d do outside? I’m guessing the patina would be amazing!
Paired with the metal chairs these would make one gorgeous patio set! Even without the chairs can’t you see these strung through the trees? They would look gorgeous twinkling in the night sky.
Maybe this is a little one but when I bought a new rose gold laptop cover it came with a cute little keyboard cover just like this one… and it makes all the difference! I absolutely love the cover: it keeps dust and crumbs out of the keyboard and it actually saved me last week when I spilled Diet Coke all over the right side of the keyboard (it’s not airtight so I’m still kicking myself for that one… but it definitely helped!) plus it looks awesome when my laptop is open on my desk with is like 98% of the time.
The only bad thing is that my laptop cover is rose gold… and it came with a bright pink keyboard cover. So I already ordered this rose gold one… so they can match!
Yes, I’m crazy.
No that wasn’t a typo… these little guys are plastic. Definitely need these for those nights you just don’t want to wash dishes! You know: picnics, pot-lucks, tuesdays when it’s 10:30 at night and it’s been a long day at work.
I actually just spray painted a trash can to look almost identical to this one! It was light pink but that’s not exactly rose gold so out came the rose gold spray paint that I can’t seem to keep put away. This one already comes rose gold… so that’s one less step!
This little bowl is both mercury glass and rose gold… so it’s a double whammy. It would look gorgeous with flowers but even better as a fruit basket on the kitchen counter. I love using beautiful objects for everyday applications!
Here are the famous rose gold dog food bowls that started it all! I’m trying to decide how to make a stand for them in the kitchen (kind of like this one)… it’s going to be amazing!
Y’all this candle smells sooo good. I’ve never even heard of patchouli but it is kind of amazing mixed with rosewood. Of course, the rose gold is my favorite but the scent really seals the deal.
Y’all this little basket is for your sponges… in the kitchen! I need like 3 of them (we have a lot of sponges). I also kind of want one fir the bathroom… they would be brilliant for shampoo bottles!
